Everything was excellent, pappardelle with unforgettable sardines, the owner was friendly and very kind. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this small terrace restaurant is fantastic! It is located in the old town, the table service is fantastic being provided by the owner her self ( very polite and professional and also very friendly and chatty) but the food is hard to describe how delicious it is! The sea food pasta and the carbonara pasta is just perfect! The grilled pork and salciccia perfectly cooked! I don't wanna start with the caponata! Fresh veggies freshly cooked! Mumm is the best chef in town! It's a family business! And they do it well!

This is a traditionally run family restaurant located in a lovely piazza in the centre of this beautiful place. The owner was very welcoming and the home made food was delicious. Great value for money.

Un piacevole angolo di delizie Veniamo accolti calorosamente dalla proprietaria e siamo incuriositi dai prodotti locali Quindi ordiniamo della sarde a beccafico stellari ed un mix di prodotti locali (caponata in primis) veramente buoni… Proseguiamo con due primi Una norma ed una pappardella sarde finocchietti ed uva passa veramente da 10 e lode! Veramente top Per una spesa giusta per 4 portate ed un po’ di acqua Ottima la compagnia non invadente ma calorosa della titolare con la quale abbiamo parlato anche un bel po’

Fabulous homely food. We had Caprese salad and roast/fried veg for starters and a pomodoro pasta and lasagna for the mains. Cassata ( wonderfully green) for pudding ( dolce). Lovely. All for 3 people ( 2 dolce only) 47 Euro.

Exceptional lunch experience in August. First of all, the kindness of the lady who was closing but agreed to let us have lunch. The raw materials are genuine and cooked with the same care and attention that a grandmother would put into them. Special mention to a simple dish but of rare goodness: spaghetti alla carrettiera. I absolutely recommend taking it because I have never eaten such good pasta. Congratulations to the family who manages the place with care and attention.

An excellent culinary experience served by the sweet smile of the family who works there. Breaded aubergines and top aperitif! Spacious seafood pappardelle carbonara, with a lemon scent that makes you fall in love 🍋

08/08/2024: Rocca dei Saraceni is a paradise of things, silence, nature, cleanliness and top quality service. From top to bottom all the service and staff is great especially Ms Caterina Lombardo who excels in her superior quality and talent on Wine and other Food experiences. Waitresses are also doing their job at best in class specifically Rediet who super understands what the client needs. Well done from every aspect, see you again!
09/07/2024: The hotel is beautifully situated with a view over a valley and Mount Etna. With this view you get a delicious breakfast every morning with everything you could call 'breakfast'. The coffee you get for breakfast is of very high quality! The swimming pool is wonderfully cool during the day with wonderful beds and service. There is not much to do in the vicinity. The location is a very good base to visit the beautiful cities of Sicily (Taormina, Syracuse, Noto, Agrigento) by car.

15/12/2024: Stunning location, everything spotlessly clean. Top service Pretty good pizza, light dough, quality ingredients Prices normal Highly recommended! If I really have to nitpick one thing, yes, I didn't see the owner walking around the tables like I might see elsewhere, but he could be there on a confusing evening.
