A small restaurant where everything is freshly made, so the food takes a little longer to arrive. It's more than worth the wait!
We had bruschetta, lasagna, and tagliatella with bacon and egg. Delicious!
Traditional trattoria, with few tables and attentive service. The food takes a while to come out for main courses because they do everything themselves, while the starters come out faster. We tried the meat and seafood carbonara, both delicious. The canolo was spectacular, good size and flavorful. We were very happy.
Family-run trattoria.
I don't eat fish, but it smelled good, and the meat dishes were good and plentiful.
It's a shame the coffee was served in a takeaway cup.
During our stay in Piazza Armerina, we had dinner with a couple of dear friends at this trattoria in the nearby historic center. The restaurant is run by Gianna (the chef), her daughter, and her son-in-law. Gianna offers traditional local cuisine that's delicious and affordable. I highly recommend it; the pasta alla "Carrettiera" is a must-try!
