Wonderful trattoria experience in Assisi with authentic Umbrian food! Rabbit ragù and much more!

Some meals stay with you, and this was one of them. From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, and that feeling stayed with us throughout the whole evening. We began with the arancini, which were simply exceptional — crisp on the outside and full of flavour inside. The pasta with cavolo nero was deeply comforting and beautifully balanced. For mains, the veal cheek was outstanding: meltingly tender, rich and soulful, while the mixed grill was perfectly cooked, full of flavour and seasoned with real care and respect for the ingredients. Dessert was just as special. The orange parfait was fresh and elegant, and the homemade dessert of the day was a true little surprise — simple, honest and delicious, just like the food you hope to find in a place like this. What really makes this restaurant shine is the people. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive and proud of what they serve. Combined with a lovely selection of local wines and a warm, relaxed atmosphere, it felt like discovering a little hidden gem in Assisi. This is the kind of place you remember long after the meal is finished. Highly, highly recommended ❤️

A very charming and intimate location, with an open-view cooking grill in the dining room. Dinner included wild boar stew with apples and polenta, grilled pork ribs, and a side of stewed artichokes. The dishes were very good and plentiful. The house chocolate dessert was just okay; we found it lacking in flavor. The usual Italian restaurant overcharge: €3 for a 0.75 bottle of water—absurd and unthinkable. On a positive note: if you park in the Matteotti parking lot between 7:00 PM and midnight, it's free thanks to a ticket you'll be given when you get the bill. Ask for it. There aren't many tables, so make sure to reserve.

A traditional trattoria with a very welcoming and refined atmosphere. Traditional dishes with high-quality food and generous portions. Friendly and professional service. I recommend the chargrilled meats and the charcuterie board.

Without a reservation, we found a free table for dinner. The menu was well-structured; we each tried two dishes and were very pleased. Excellent location, and the open grill station was appreciated. They're friendly to four-legged friends.

Simply the best restaurant in Assisi. The food and service are amazing. Grilled chicken and fries are my favourite but all the food is delicious.
