05/05/2025: *5 stars!* I just left the Red Moon Pizzeria in Palmariggi, a few km from Otranto. I was thrilled with how incredible it is! The cleanliness is impeccable! Every detail is meticulously cared for. The staff was super welcoming and professional, they made us feel at home. Pizza? Fantastic! The crust is crunchy, the sauce is fresh and tasty. The service was very fast and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The value for money is fantastic. I highly recommend this pizzeria to everyone! If you are a pizza lover, you can't miss it. 04/05/2025: A look beyond the counter and it seems to be in one of the many "by the slice" pizzerias in New York. Instead we find ourselves in an unsuspected place in Palmariggi that serves excellent pizzas, succulent pieces of horse meat from the Salento tradition, mixed grills, rotisserie, donuts and various desserts, superlative burgers and even very fresh craft beers produced in the back of the shop. My complete burger, with two hundred gram Irish Angus, is the winner of the evening, I have no doubts. But on the podium it also brings with it the commendable English IPA and the friendliness of the owners. Before leaving, someone suggested me Maxi Bufalo Burger and an interesting off-menu recipe. So I have at least a couple of good reasons to go back, don't you think?!
