The restaurant is lovely, clean, and spacious; the service is friendly and helpful.
The food was definitely the best part.
My experience was great, and in my opinion, the value for money deserves 5 stars.

Good evening, what can I say!
Today I took a stroll in search of Salento's "historic centers." Lunch break at this restaurant.
I endorse all the 5-star reviews; otherwise, I'd have to write so much!
Just a few thoughts. The food was excellent, we had a completely relaxed lunch, and the location had an enchanting panoramic view. Compliments to all the staff. Highly recommended; I'll be back with my family.

There are places you frequent once and then forget, and others you return to every week as if it were your home.
Trattoria da Coppuledda, in Specchia, is just that for me: a constant.
As soon as I arrive, I already know what awaits me—the warm welcome of Sigfrido, the owner, a friend more than a restaurateur, and the sincere smile of Nando, the waiter, whose professionalism and kindness make every dinner more enjoyable. There's no need to say much: here, just a glance is enough, and they already know what to bring you, what you like, and even how you like it.
The atmosphere is typical of true Salento trattorias, where the aroma of cooking wafts in before you even sit down. The warm lights, the wooden tables, the walls that tell the tale of years of conviviality: everything exudes familiarity and care.
But let's get to the heart of the evening: the dishes.
During this time of year, the undisputed star is mushrooms, prepared in all their nuances.
Mixed mushrooms arrive at the table, served baked, raw, and fried—a riot of aromas and textures. The fried ones are crispy yet light, the baked ones release their full aroma, while the raw ones, simply seasoned, surprise with their freshness and natural flavor. It's a dish that reflects the season, the land, and the passion of the cook.
Every time I try something different: an appetizer of local products, homemade orecchiette, a grilled meat or fish dish, always well-cooked and flavorful. The cuisine is honest, authentic, but not banal: you can taste the attention and love for the craft behind every dish. The portions are generous, and the quality-price ratio is truly excellent.
And then there's the atmosphere: at Coppuledda, you don't just go to eat, but to feel good.
Between a joke with Sigfrido and a smile from Nando, the evening flows by lightly. Every time I leave the table, I have that rare feeling of being truly welcomed, not just served.
For anyone passing through Specchia, it's a must-see.
And for those like me who return week after week, it's a sure thing that never disappoints.
Everything is delicious, from the first course to the last, but the seasonal mushrooms remain an experience not to be missed.
