Beautiful place obtained from an old stable that fits perfectly with the surrounding village, found very bright on a Sunday lunch. The food is typical of the Mantuan tradition, excellent both in flavors that remind me of my childhood and in the size of the portions. Worth mentioning are the bread, schiacciate and schiacciatine as a cover and the desserts really special and not too sugary. To return

Today we had the most wonderful experience at this trattoria ❤️we had been visiting the beautiful church next door which was amazing too ! We were soo hungry but it was already 2.30 pm . We saw a number of people leaving the restaurant and we thought we’d try to get something to eat ! We went in and although they were clearly finishing up for the lunch service the amazing owner said “of course we have a meat dish and vegetables available “ wow we were blown away ! The food was excellent, the glass of rosé perfect and we even got to take home a bag of treats to keep up from being “Hangry” which can happen when you drive and sight see too long in a day - tutti bene team ❤️🇮🇹❤️

Fantastic culinary experience of local specialities, all seasoned with excellent good-naturedness from the house. Correct prices, right portions even if not abundant. Cotechino from Mantua is sublime, as is the stracotto. Some small mix-ups with a course but there were many of us with various requests and the manager immediately offered a possible remedy. The entrance façade is not promising but leads to a very well-appointed internal patio. Really friendly manager

This restaurant was a revelation, with impeccable service, a unique experience, everything exquisite, from the first starter to the dessert which left us speechless. Gessica and Morena
they pampered us
and recommended not to mention the kindness of the owner. I can't wait to return! Highly recommended.

Sono stato in questa trattoria con mia moglie a cenare un po' di tempo fa circa un mesetto. ci siamo trovati molto bene cibo buono è speso leggermente meno della media. Se saremo da quelle parti probabilmente ci torneremo

Le 5 palle se le meriterebbero a priori, fosse solo per il fatto che noi, nuovi del posto e con qualche difficoltà di deambulazione, siamo arrivati in auto al limite della ZTL ed il titolare in persona, infinitamente gentile, è venuto a recuperarci per condurci al locale.
Ambiente molto bello, molti habitués, il che la dice lunga.
Purtroppo avevamo i minuti contati: ci siamo potuti concedere solo i ravioli di zucca, uno al burro e salvia (divini) e uno con la salsiccia (paradisiaci).
Ottimo il bianco della casa.
Unica nota negativa: ci toccherà per forza tornarci.
Troppe cose buone da assaggiare, troppi profumi nell'aria...
Torniamo, sicuramente. Per la simpatia, per la bravura, per la cortesia.
