Trattoria Da Ciccio Cielo Mare e Terra In Amalfi

I'm sorry for the delay on this review but this review deserves my full sit-down attention I celebrated a very special birthday here just over a week ago and for someone who has been in the hospitality life for a very long time I can truly say with confidence this is the most wonderful and charming night I have ever had at a restaurant. A family run restaurant which has been in operation for over 100 years is now in the wonderful hands of the 4 charming brothers of the family. Each one of them came over to introduce themselves at different points throughout the night and when encouraged by us they proudly walked us through their family history and how they all became who they are today, everyone have their own special skills within the business, wine connoisseur, head chef, guest relations, business man, the godfther of the farm and so on Fresh ingredients from their family farm/gardens and their local fishing boats delivered straight to your plate there is no better way to enjoy great food. We opted for the full experience so we went for the tasting menu which did not disappoint!! Each dish being walked through and explained with such passion and pride it honestly just brought pure joy to my heart and clearly the experience I had been urning my whole life, every attention to our table was delivered with a genuine smile and such care, everyone who works here are clearly very proud of who/where they work. ( Big shout out to the Nieces ❤️) Good luck with Uni 🤞 Each dish beautifully presented and busting with flavour, just so much love went into every dish I do honestly wish we took more photos but we were so happily wrapped up in the experience and the family vibes we barely looked at our phones or thought to take pictures. ( This is what you call a perfect night and how a dining experience should be ) Pre drinks on the terrace was idealic and the view over the Amalfi coast is definitely my favorite romantic way to start of any night. We ended up staying 3 hours past closing and cancelled our other reservation somewhere else for late drinks, once you found what felt like home why go anywhere else. They even gave us a lift back into town once they closed down, if I didn't have a ferry first thing in the morning I would have gone out with the rest of the team ( you are all such wonderful humans 💜) The full experience of the family mixed with the service was truly spectacular and I really wish I was apart of this family ❣️ Especially after hearing how they celebrate their Christmas! I wish nothing but truly great things for the entire family and I'll definitely be booking another Amalfi trip soon just so I can hangout with the family again. Good luck with the farm, the restaurant and the hotel save me a room because I'm coming back! Oh and the Negroni is truly to die for! Much love Chloe & Ollie 💕

Excellent staff, exceptional cuisine, wonderful view. There is also convenient parking. The best fine dining experience in the Amalfi area. We took the "historical" tasting menu, but I forgot to photograph all the courses, so you only see a few represented. All very good.

The best restaurant experience in Amalfi by far! The service is so friendly in a family like atmosphere. The tasting menus are outstanding … Michelin Star quality!

Beautiful food and hospitality experience.

Suggerito dal nostro albergatore, abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante alle porte di Amalfi, location non straordinaria ( per la media in questi posti) ma comunque con un bel affaccio sul mare. Personale gentilissimo e molto preparato. Cucina di alta qualità con materie prime eccellenti e preparate con altrettanta eccellenza. Stranissimo non sia sulla guida Michelin, al contrario di altri locali della costa che lo sono ma che a confronto con questo non lo meriterebbero affatto. Unico punto da migliorare sono le attese, un filo troppo. Complimenti

What a special experience! We enjoyed the tasting menu as suggested for groups bigger than 5. Everything was amazing. The spaghetti in a bag and the fish with potatoes stood out the most. They encourage drinks on the patio before dinner. Watching the sunset over Amalfi was lovely. The service was above and beyond, everyone was so kind. We appreciated the attention to detail. Cannot say enough good things. A Must Try!

Antonio will make sure that you will have a great time there. If you go there for dinner they will also offer a free ride to your hotel. pasta in paper is really good. you get some complimentary stuff which all are great

This was our second time having dinner at Da Ciccio and it did not disappoint! The staff is lovely and so welcoming. The food is so fresh and delicious! We look forward to our next visit.
