Holiday lunch, a very nice and welcoming place, super friendly staff, and good, local food. We shared three courses (a cured meats and cheese appetizer, testaroli, and lamb), which arrived pre-cut, with two glasses of wine for about €30 per person. Highly recommended.

Great place to try local cuisine in Lunigiana!

Appetizer, bottle of Lunigiano wine, two first courses, and two desserts. Excellent value. Worth a stop, even for the rushed traveler.

Passing through Pontremoli, we stopped at this lovely place right in the center, just steps from the main square. The place is cozy, with small rooms featuring painted walls. The food is good and local, the atmosphere pleasant, but above all, the owner is kind, welcoming, a naturally pleasant person, not forced by the presence of customers. From what little I saw, he seemed to be friendly and polite, even towards his employees, which I was pleased with. Special mention goes to the amaro liqueurs, which he produces himself in a wide variety. The price was fair. I would definitely return.

Dishes are well presented and of excellent quality, service is a little slow if it's crowded like when I was there, but understandable.

Great food. Good value for money

While driving along the highway, a stop in Pontremoli has become a habit. Besides the beauty of the place, we also discovered this restaurant. At first glance, it might seem touristy, but instead it offers local dishes with excellent, well-crafted ingredients. The prices are more than reasonable. The twins in charge, along with the rest of the young staff, are dynamic and professional, which is not a given. Well done!

Two charming twins welcomed us to the osteria: one in the dining room and the other in the kitchen. Extremely knowledgeable about food and wine, they recommended one dish more delicious than the next! Testaroli with basil pesto and fabulous walnut cream, delicate yet "porcella" porchetta accompanied by a truly bold Tropea red onion and spicy pork hock. A young Trebbio red with cherry notes perfectly contrasted the dishes. Kindly offered by the house, the amaro with cinchona and bitter orange finished off the meal in style. Well done, guys!
