Historic restaurant serving excellent meat and local produce. Freshly made dishes, some of which are cooked in a wood-fired oven. Delicious appetizers and cold cuts. The Florentine steak (what the heck, you have to try it). Friendly staff. Excellent value.

Osteria with excellent service. No entry before 12:30!!! Appetizers + meat + side dishes, water/wine/coffee, and some desserts (19 people / €45 each) Excellent, well-aged meat and well-prepared. It would have been even better if it had been better seasoned!

We've been trying to stop here for years when we pass through the area, but we've never managed it. This time, we booked well in advance. A typical Tuscan trattoria with a meat-based menu (though some vegan options are available). Excellent food and quick service, good house wine, and a more than fair price.

11/05/2025: Una cena muy agradable en este restaurante, que fue recomendado por el hotel cercano en el que nos alojamos. Gran servicio amable y sabrosos platos de pasta. Recomiendo encarecidamente el tiramisú.
27/03/2025: Il migliore ristorante in cui io abbia mangiato a Pisa. Sono stato questa sera su segnalazione del b&b presso cui alloggio. Sono stato molto soddisfatto per la qualità e la quantità del cibo così come della gentilezza del personale. Entrando più nei dettagli, ho preso un risotto al nero di seppia come primo e del baccalà al pomodoro e olive come secondo. Entrambi i piatti erano abbondanti e la qualità dei prodotti molto buona. Consiglio quindi vivamente a chi cercasse un ristorante a Pisa di prenotare in questo posto perché ne vale assolutamente la pena!

09/11/2025: The Chef was so friendly and kind, she was super welcoming and accepted all our requests as we only eat Halal meat.
18/10/2025: We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night and were lucky to have exactly one table for two. The place is small, cozy, with a very warm atmosphere, like visiting grandma, and typical local food. The menu, written by hand, impressed us a lot, and the food was the most delicious thing we tried in a week in Tuscany. The tripe is a must, it was great! The lady, probably the owner, who took care of us was also great and impressed us a lot. Thanks for the hospitality and for the delight for the palate!
