A truly wonderful restaurant. Typical Bolognese cuisine. A very popular place, reservations are recommended. Very friendly staff. We chose excellent tagliatelle with meat sauce, cooked just al dente and served with a savory and delicious meat sauce. The Bolognese crescentine and cured meats were superb. This trattoria is highly recommended. Convenient parking nearby.

I'm giving it 3 stars for the good service, but 2 stars for the quality; it's nothing like traditional food. It was a standard set menu. The meatballs tasted like they came from a supermarket, and the spaghetti al raccoon had very little meat. We ordered two set menus, and for dessert, we only got one panna cotta to share, but they wanted to charge us for two desserts. We asked for water and wine, and they made an exception and gave us an extra glass for the water, otherwise we would have had to pay more. That didn't make sense. The dishes could be better for the price of the set menu. I have no complaints about the service, though. The staff was friendly.

Booked almost by chance a couple of weeks ago, but it was a great find. A basic place on the hill, but truly excellent food. Crescentine, cured meats, squacquerone, and giardiniera—all truly delicious. First courses are stellar, desserts are excellent. Prices are average.

A restaurant with authentic Bologna home cooking that is far from tourist areas and is mainly aimed at locals. Delicious food, very reasonable prices and plenty of parking. Highly recommended for anyone in Bologna, especially in San Lazzaro.
