Trattoria *Coppa Cicuta* In San giovanni rotondo

The Coppa Cicuta starter was excellent, the first course was also spaghetti with prawns, pistachios and salted butter, it was delicious and plentiful

Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen, wurden gut beraten und haben regionale Küche genossen. Preis- Leistung hervorragend. Der Chef hat uns am Abend sogar noch mit dem Auto in unser Hotel gefahren, da er meinte, auf dem Feldweg sei es abends zu dunkel. Unheimlich freundlich! War ein toller Abend!

Cercavamo un posto che offrisse un’atmosfera piacevole per una cena in famiglia e che garantisse un’ampia scelta atta a soddisfare il palato di ognuno. Posto gestito da due fratelli gentili, professionali e per nulla invadenti, abbiamo degustato due antipasti (Al tramonto) che ci hanno permesso di assaggiare tre pietanze differenti una più buona dell’altra. A seguire delle favolose linguine al pistacchio, gamberi e burro salato, delle orecchiette con vongole e baccalà fritto e per concludere una grigliata mista di pesce fresco. Seppur la nostra pancia fosse piena, ci siamo fatti ingolosire da un tiramisù ed una cheesecake al caramello salato buonissima. Consigliamo vivamente questo locale per il cibo squisito e la cordialità dei proprietari.

We spent a pleasant evening with a couple of friends who came from Veneto in a camper van... my friend said it was a super rest area... with an adjoining restaurant where we ate excellent dishes recommended by the two young owners... excellent, excellent. Recommended.

Nice surprise. We were very well received. The structure is family and we feel good there. The food was really excellent, well done to Mamma in the kitchen. The prices are fair and the wine is excellent. We had the opportunity to talk with the 3 brothers present that evening and they were really adorable. We will come back with great pleasure during our next visit.
