A special place. The food, service, and atmosphere exceeded expectations. Family-run, and the prices are incredibly reasonable, making them affordable for everyone. I'll definitely go back and recommend them again.

A cozy place with limited seating, Fabrizia pampered us. Seven of us sat at a round table. We ate well, pleasing everyone, omnivores and vegetarians alike, and enjoyed each other's company in peace. An experience worth repeating.

14/06/2026: Was invited to lunch here by friends who are regulars. The view over Lake Maggiore from the outside seating is to die for - we enjoyed a cooling breeze under the pergola on a very warm day. Both food and wine were delicious and the service both friendly and professional.
15/05/2026: We had dinner at this beautiful restaurant with a stunning view. The service, the welcome, everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! The wine was exquisite and the desserts were to die for!

Osteria Il Mattarello

27/04/2026: I went to this restaurant after Easter. The service was very friendly and the staff were very courteous. I had a truly spectacular lamb with baked potatoes. The lamb was moist and beautifully presented, not dry, and the potatoes were also very good. The other two courses were also excellent.
11/04/2026: The food is delicious and the patron saint is Centile. We come every year from Switzerland for 35 years now.
