Trattoria Concepita In Melendugno

Excellent trattoria: both the seafood appetizer and the mixed fried food were exceptional and plentiful and, at the next table, a plate of tagliolini with seafood arrived which led us to return a couple of evenings later because it was too inviting. Courteous and extremely helpful staff: even, since a very strong storm broke out, they invited us to finish lunch inside the restaurant. I would add that the tagliolini, enjoyed a couple of evenings later, were also delicious. Average prices.

Trained and friendly staff and you eat and drink well

We took a legendary appetizer driven by the curiosity of the photo... It's all delicious, fresh fish and the best octopus balls I've ever eaten. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!!

We went for lunch on Sunday, there were seven of us. We ordered the first courses, I chose seafood linguine, together with two other guests I was lucky because in the other dishes there was neither a mussel nor a shrimp but only clams. Lobster ravioli 8 cash per number good but very little even to the eye and not just for the stomach. The second courses chose good and abundant fried foods. Slow service, the dishes did not arrive all together. Overall we had a good time, the guy who took charge was nice and kind. Honest account. I will return because the place is welcoming and maybe at most two people to change my mind.

The food was excellent. We spontaneously looked for a restaurant for lunch and were well served here.

Good food at a high price and completely inattentive service unless you are frequently there. Really slow.

My boyfriend made me come to San Foca on purpose to return to this trattoria and now I know why: the food is fabulous. Fresh fish, of excellent quality and kind and friendly staff. Prices are in line with the quality of the food. Generous portions. If you don't come... you're making a big mistake. Try Enzo's mirto!

Siamo partiti con il massimo delle aspettative per trovarci un antipasto (che doveva essere di punta) che sembrava una pessima versione di all you can eat. Chiaramente hai fame visto che il posto libero è alle 21.45. Passiamo poi agli altri piatti. Calamarata con pesce invisibile (dalle foto i pezzi di pesce erano bellissimi e ben evidenti). Linguine alle vongole immangiabili che nuotavano in acqua e vino bianco non sfumato (dalla foto si vede l’acquetta) Frittura di pesce senza infamia e senza lode. Cameriera veramente solare e carinissima ma per compensare la mancanza delle linguine alle vongole ci aveva garantito di togliere il piatto dal conto e per scusarsi ci avrebbe offerto 3 amari e un piattino con dolci spacciati per locali (trovabili in tutte le sagre d’Italia) salvo poi trovare i dolcetti nel conto (6 mignon 5€).

Siamo stati a cena una sera della scorsa settimana, sinceramente mi aspettavo molto di più.. il servizio non è stato proprio dei migliori ma comunque educati. Il mangiare nella norma, piatti semplici ma comunque buoni. A mio avviso solo un po troppo alto il rapporto qualità prezzo. Credo che se torno in Puglia un altro giro lo faccio al Concepita perché secondo me ho solo preso la serata sbagliata.
