Suggested by someone, we stopped by on our way back from vacation and had a great time. The first course with duck ragù was excellent, not to mention the guanciale: spectacular!

If you are in Reggio I recommend a lunch/dinner break at Trattoria Cognento.
You will have the opportunity to see Mrs. Antonella make the fresh pasta you choose on the spot. All this happens in a few minutes. Waiting times are practically non-existent. You will like the result, I am sure of it.
The dining room staff is very efficient and helpful. Friendliness and hospitality are the basis of their business.
Trust me 😉. You will return again and recommend it to all your friends

I went to this place a couple of times because I was passing through, it is very convenient being close to the highway. Very very nice, kind and helpful staff, very good first and appetizers, quality. Very honest prices. I recommend it.

Excellent!!!!! Everything was simply wonderful!!!! We were in the area for a concert, we were amazed by the wonderful welcome. Very kind, prepared, friendly and smiling staff!! Excellent homemade cuisine, typical and traditional. Excellent value for money..... And again, thank you very much for the tigelle with Nutella to the guys!!!! If you pass by here you absolutely have to stop!

Dinner after a day of sports on the recommendation of our hotel. A very welcome surprise given the quality of the food.
For 5 of us, we had an appetizer of very fresh cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by lard to spread and mustard, tigelle and fried gnocco.
Afterwards, a first course was enough for us, personally I had some high-quality cappelletti with meat sauce. Very good.
All washed down with excellent Lambrusco.
Bitter finish.
All for €25 per person.

Locale carino, in zona stadio, dove poter gustare qualche piatto tradizionale in un ambiente moderno ma con un impronta da trattoria.
Il personale è gentile, molto simpatico e disponibile.
Il menu non offre un'esagerazione di portate, ma quelle che ci sono sono sicuramente tutte interessanti.
Fanno un pò sorridere i prezzi in stile "mercatone", tipo i primi a 10,90 ma sono scelte personali ci mancherebbe.
Quella che manca, invece, è una carta dei vini che vengono elencati, un pò alla rinfusa, dal cameriere di turno
(senza elencarli tutti, senza dare una qualche indicazione, etc... ect...)
Prezzi, nel complesso, non proprio economici.
Simpatico e apprezzabile il bancone dove poter acquistare i prodotti artigianali.
