A typical Bolognese trattoria, both in terms of food and appearance. The first courses are excellent, as is the mutton. The waiters are very friendly and prompt. For those who want to eat well in the center of Castel San Pietro, this is the ideal place. It's a quiet and informal place.

Nice traditional place, good food, excellent service, definitely recommended!... My only complaint... When they're close to closing time, they go around the tables making their attention felt, for example, by removing plates, trays, and other items from the table even if you ask politely... Anyway, good, we'll be back... PLEASE NOTE: Parking is in the historic center outside the "city walls"...

A sure thing. Excellent regional dishes, including amazing tortellini and delicious crescentine, as well as grilled meats; but the real specialty is the French fries... worthy of a Champions League winner. The extremely friendly and efficient staff is definitely the added bonus of this lovely Bolognese osteria. In the warmer months, you can dine in the shade under the arcades of the center.

We stopped by for lunch and had a decent time. The service was good and attentive, the food was average, but the price was a bit high for what we ate. Honest advice...with a menu like that, some air conditioning could be a good idea.

Entrando in questo ristorante tipico io e la mia famiglia abbiamo mangiato cibo ottimo ad un prezzo giusto. Consigliatissimo il castrato e ottime le crescentine. Il propietario super!!!

01/07/2025: Through the advice of a friend, I come to try this restaurant. So located just outside the walls of the center and also nice, the staff was friendly and the service fast, really excellent quality: we ordered a mix of raw and cooked seafood, between dishes we liked less and some more but all well appreciated, risotto alla pescatora very very good and to finish a fried seafood that ended the evening in style even if I was hoping for more calamari and less fish with bones but oh well. Approved and promoted
08/06/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night: I never imagined I could eat fish so well in Bologna! Very fresh fish, divinely cooked, without condiments that could alter or mitigate the authenticity of the product; simple but reworked proposals without compromising on taste, I found the right mix between tradition and innovation. Informal but professional environment. Kindness and friendliness of the waiting staff and the owners. What can I say...as soon as I'm in the area I will definitely go back!

06/09/2025: We stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept. It offers a refined selection of seafood dishes, including a special oyster menu. The fried fish is excellent. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome; we'll definitely be back.
06/08/2025: On the outskirts of Bologna a beautiful encounter with the fish restaurant Il Setaccio. We tasted their proposal on crudi, hot and cold appetizers, as well as a plate of paccheri with crabs and another with seafood sauce. These dishes expertly prepared by the chef and of great quality are a delight for the palate; Owner and staff very kind, knowledgeable and very professional. Simple, comfortable and very elegant location. A real surprise, as you wouldn't think so from the outside. With tagliatelle with meat sauce even children will be satisfied 😉 ****** We returned to Setaccio to encounter other "Marine suggestions" and we found them with a truly special crustacean Catalan with lobster and fried Moeche (little crabs with very soft shells).
