We had a wonderful experience at Chiribiri Restaurant in San Gimignano! The owner is incredibly attentive and funny, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the place itself is cozy and full of charm. It was the perfect cherry on top of an extraordinary day in San Gimignano. Highly recommended!

5-day trip today, October 13, 2025, 5 people, visit to the medieval village of San Gimignano. I was struck by the name of the tavern, so we took a look, but my thoughts kept coming back to Chiribiri. We had all the expectations. It was time to order: a great appetizer and 2 pappardelle with wild boar ragù; 2 pappardelle with speck, zucchini, and saffron; 1 rigatoni with wild boar sausage sauce; a bottle of wine; 2 waters; excellent price; friendly service; and a short wait. The staff were friendly and helpful, but upon our arrival, we were offered a table practically next to another table. While it's true that there's limited space, it's also unfair to suggest dining with practically other people at the same table. Overall, the food quality was good, but the preparation didn't match the menu. For example, we ordered bruschetta with oil and garlic because I don't eat tomatoes, but the bruschetta contained tomato sauce that wasn't listed on the menu. Another example: we ordered lemon chicken with potatoes, and what we received was baked chicken with potatoes, or rather, oil and a bit of chicken. Finally, we noticed that the portions of entrees served at other tables were much larger than ours. A final point of terrible taste: we noticed that the tablecloths were used on both sides: basically, after the table is cleared, they're turned over to be reused.

You booked over the phone before leaving Padua, and when you arrived, you were recognized because you were the one who asked for the car seat for the child. Yet, after just a few dozen minutes, the atmosphere of the places you've been going to every week now sets in, where the owner has known you since you were little, where they don't bring you the menu because they already know what you're ordering. The place is small, it's true, but this creates a bond among the customers. It's not just dinner, it's an experience!! The owner claims he'll soon receive a call from the Almighty, so hurry before that happens and you miss the chance to experience this unique place! Oh yes... the food is good and the prices are reasonable, but these are just minor details compared to how much fun you can have dining if you give the staff a chance to strike up a conversation!

19/05/2025: Nous avons vécu une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle dans ce bijou niché au cœur de la magnifique Toscane. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur sincère et une grande attention. Le service est irréprochable et la vrai magie s’est poursuivie dans l’assiette. Antonio, le propriétaire, nous a bien conseillé avec des plats raffinés, préparés par son épouse, la chef du restaurant. Un vrai délice! Vivement recommander 👌
13/03/2025: Un ristorante situato in un posto strepitoso per la vista sulla val d' Orcia con una vetrata meravigliosa. Il servizio è stato fatto in modo esemplare i ricarichi sui vini sono buoni . Abbiamo assaggiato un coniglio in porchetta ripieno alle prugne cotto in modo esemplare e squisito negli abbinamenti.un'altro secondo vegano buonissimo il sedano rapa con finocchi anch'esso cotto magistralmente, come primi lo spaghetto e alla liquirizia era leggermente sciapo ma ugualmente buono,il raviolo anch'esso buono per antipasto panna cotta con tartufo un pochino sciapa ma buona l' idea dell' accostamento . es,un ottimo sedano rapa uno spaghetti e alla liquirizia quasi perfetti (leggermente sciapo) un buonissimo raviolo con un ripieno degno di nota , leggermente sottotono lo spaghetto e alla liquirizia . Nel complesso vi consigliamo questo locale sia per la splendida vista che per la qualità delle materie prime

23/09/2025: A wonderful, quaint hotel in Tuscany. I recommend dining at the hotel restaurant, where we tried the tasting menu and the meat was fantastic. High-quality Chianti wine, super friendly staff, and a fresh, homemade breakfast. Pet-friendly hotel.
