As soon as we arrived in San Gimignano, we started looking for that lovely little restaurant we'd been to years before, with the charming name...Chiribiri...and here we are again. It was a pleasant surprise to find everything the same: the same family atmosphere, the same owner, and the delicious food, just as we remembered. We had an appetizer of mixed crostini, two first courses, an excellent pappardella with wild boar, and a delicious lasagna. For the main course, a delicious wild boar stew, and to finish, the tiramisu was a must. The prices were more than fair. We'll be back soon!

Unfortunately, despite the friendly staff, the food definitely wasn't worth the price. A bruschetta made with soggy bread that fell apart as soon as you tried to lift it, burrata that looked like it had just come out of the freezer... The table settings were embarrassing, to say the least; you'd have to have played Tetris forever to be able to get up and go to the bathroom...

We had a wonderful experience at Chiribiri Restaurant in San Gimignano! The owner is incredibly attentive and funny, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the place itself is cozy and full of charm. It was the perfect cherry on top of an extraordinary day in San Gimignano. Highly recommended!

5-day trip today, October 13, 2025, 5 people, visit to the medieval village of San Gimignano. I was struck by the name of the tavern, so we took a look, but my thoughts kept coming back to Chiribiri. We had all the expectations. It was time to order: a great appetizer and 2 pappardelle with wild boar ragù; 2 pappardelle with speck, zucchini, and saffron; 1 rigatoni with wild boar sausage sauce; a bottle of wine; 2 waters; excellent price; friendly service; and a short wait. Congratulations!
