Recommend by our local tour guide. We tried it for lunch. Very tasty food and good prices. We arrived at 12:30 no one was there. Leaving at 2:00 the place is packed. Reservations seem to be needed. The ricotta cheese cake is a must have, fresh and soft but not too sweet.

Excellent dishes. We tried the octopus as a starter, and the Linguine al pesce spada and squid nero as main courses. We loved it! The wine was also very good, and the service was professional. The waiters were attentive and friendly. Thank you very much.

The fish was amazing BUT the pasta was awful. We ordered carbonara to share and the sauce was chunky, like they rushed making it and the cheese and egg had been added too quickly and it cooked the egg. Sauce consistency was that of a runny cottage cheese. Definitely wasn’t what a carbonara should taste like but service was fine and the fish definitely was the winner.

It's worth going for the hospitality and the desire to make you feel good! The evening was a bit bland, but we arrived late. The octopus salad and fried fish were excellent, but the swordfish rolls and sardines alla beccafico were a no-no. The staff were very friendly, so I'll be back to try again, given the good reviews.

Il nome è appropriato: locale semplice, un po’ datato come stile ma ben tenuto, accogliente, con un servizio gentile. Ampia scelta di piatti tipici siciliani, ben cotti e buoni, serviti in maniera semplice senza elaborazioni particolari, raffinatezze o modernità. Qui si va sulla sostanza e sul sicuro. Prezzi tutto sommato modici rispetto ai piatti serviti. Io provo un piatto di cozze al vapore, del pesce spada alla griglia. Con un quartino di vino bianco della Casa, un’acqua minerale ed il coperto spendo poco più di 25 euro. In pieno centro, consigliato.
