Trattoria Casa Mia In Polignano a mare

A traditional tourist restaurant, located in a square (if you eat outside), in a welcoming and charming atmosphere. Our experience was good, without anything special. We ordered a first course (for celiacs) and a mixed fried fish platter. The only negatives were the two fish I had in the platter had a few bones and were a bit difficult to clean. Otherwise, we had a good time. The only negative note was that the dishes arrived at two different times, fortunately with a maximum wait of 5 minutes, certainly justified by the situation and peak time. P.S.: The salad used as a garnish in the mixed fried fish platter wasn't the best; it was slightly worn, but since I didn't want to cause any problems, I set it aside and continued with my lunch.

We stumbled upon it by chance, and were impressed by the quality of the food, the courtesy, and even the price. The fried calamari was golden brown, plenty of it, and so was everything else, including the pizza (and that's what a Neapolitan says). Should we ever return to the area, this is a must-stop.

Simply spectacular. Top-notch food, extraordinary hospitality, incredible location. I'll definitely be back to visit Michele and his sons.

We visited this restaurant because the rave online reviews had raised our expectations. When the weather suddenly turned unpleasantly cold and windy, my boyfriend went back to the apartment to get us some warmer clothes, while I, a wine lover, took care of the wine selection – for the first time on a vacation in Italy and quite perplexed by the unfamiliar wines. In my uncertainty, I asked a specially dressed employee – presumably a manager or experienced waiter – for help. However, the situation developed quite differently than expected: Not only did he repeatedly try to show me a "Pinot Grigio" instead of the desired "Pinot Gris," which was already irritating, but he also treated me with a rather arrogant, condescending attitude. To be honest, his manner increasingly annoyed me – so much so that I seriously considered leaving the restaurant immediately. But after I clearly, if not particularly calmly, expressed my displeasure, the atmosphere changed abruptly. The staff member clearly realized how serious I was about the situation and suddenly became very attentive and engaged with my requests. With much more sensitivity than at the beginning, he actually ended up recommending a wine that perfectly complemented our meal. What began as a frustrating encounter turned into a truly positive evening. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and full of loving details. Despite all the stress, the service and the kitchen remained warm, dedicated, and genuinely concerned. I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience authentic cuisine, good wines, and service that demonstrates character and humanity, even in hectic situations. A special place that you'll fondly remember – especially because not everything went smoothly, but in the end, everything was perfect.

Amazing service, amazing food. The best fish and pasta we ate in Polignano.

La nourriture était bonne mais pas le service. La carte des pizzas n'est pas présenté spontanément tout du moins aux clients non italiens. Le verre de vin est surfacturé . Tout ça donne l'impression qu'on profite du touriste étranger. Dommage !

Trattoria pizzeria qui se trouve place Garibaldi à 50 m du centre historique. Très bon accueil service rapide par contre les pizzas n'était pas exceptionnel
