Trattoria Caprese In Milano

Trattoria in the center of Monza. Very good food and service. High prices for the "trattoria" category. Very nice and particular environment, high cleanliness. Absolutely worth trying.

We went on a Saturday evening, you have to book and there are 2 shifts. High prices, very high for the quality/quantity offered. Compared to the last time we came (maybe a couple of years ago) they have changed the menu and prices, so there may be room to increase the prices but not disproportionately especially if it is not commensurate with the offer. The menu however has been reduced, I remembered many more dishes which are no longer there. We took a seafood salad for 21 euros, very expensive for being frozen and above all it was very little, topped with olives, cherry tomatoes and lettuce to fill the plate and put less fish! Tonnarelli cacio e pepe and prawn tartare didn't excite me, the flavor was "weak", it wasn't a nice strong flavour, and finally a fried fish from the gulf (frozen) was nothing special. We weren't thrilled, we had another memory of this restaurant.

In the evening during the week in the center of Monza there is a real death toll, Restaurant hidden in a quiet courtyard, a bit tacky atmosphere, very good (and expensive) pizzas, then we shared a plate of tonnarelli, extremely peppery.

The fried foods and first courses are excellent but the coffee is quite terrible. Excellent service. Renovated environments. Top.

Lucky on the first course but not on the water... I'll explain! The food is very good and the place is really nice. Too bad for the poor service, waiters who didn't listen to requests very well, dirty bathrooms and there was no paper to dry your hands even though there were few customers. Finally I get a menu, the waiter forgets to bring me water, when I point it out to the cashier, she makes me pay for it, and tells me that I would have had to ask for it... So I already consider myself lucky to have been served the first dish

Fixed menu for lunch on weekdays, first course, second course, sweet water (or fruit) covered and coffee. paid 15.50. Generous portions and very good food. The pizza on the other hand didn't drive me crazy, plentiful, low but slightly below the pizzas I know (Caserta and the province). But for those prices (margherita 9.50 euros!) even in Milan you can find better. In the restaurant there were the owners discussing the new menu while we were at the table, in sometimes high tones, slightly annoying. Bathrooms not very clean

Absolutely amazing food. The best meal I’ve had in a while!
