We ate very well! I couldn't give five stars for "ambience" because it is a fairly rustic restaurant, but still very clean and organized

An exclusive lunch! A true excellence of goodness!
Culatello, aged for 54 months, a rarity of flavor!
Hot cooked shoulder, ancient and unique flavor! All accompanied with fried cake that flakes at the mere sight! Everything more than good!
The first courses are another excellence, they must be tasted, the quality of the raw materials, the flavors of the past, the presentation on the plates are worth trying!
Don't miss the ganascini... the meat is cut with a fork, a spectacular flavor!
Campanini a precious corner of Emilia, where the good flavors are unique and authentic.

Locale caratteristico, strapieno oggi, consiglio prenotazione. Personale disponibilissimo e gentilissimo. Antipasti misti cavallo di battaglia, con culatello e spalla cotta, oltre alla famosa torta fritta a valanga. Tris di primi in crescendo. Dolci discreti. Prezzo un po' alto

Trattoria from times gone by. 100 years of history, 100 years without missing a beat. Everything strictly in style, but well-kept and clean.
Perfect service, everyone very kind.
Five star food, but it's hard to eat badly in these areas.
The triptych of first courses is worth trying, with a pumpkin ravioli that I hadn't eaten for 30 years: flavors that stand out very well.
Then a fried cake with a very delicate scent of lard that enchants and fills the heart. So much stuff is being said now!
There's also a lot of cold cuts, culatello first and foremost, but I'm a lover of cooked shoulder, here from San Secondo (finally a hot option)
Gutturnio Campanini is nice and cold and will make you fall in love at first sip.
(I brought home two bottles...)
There's more but I won't reveal everything... go and binge.
Congratulations (I won't say the price because I'm ashamed, they're too good at that too)

Ci siamo fermati un po’ per caso in questo locale. Venivamo da un fuori porta e ci siamo fermati in questa trattoria. Buona cena . I piatti erano buoni . Essendo lunedì ( l’abbiamo scoperto dopo) non fanno secondi. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto di salumi con torta fritta , due primi , due dolci, 1/2 lt di vino della casa e acqua. Prezzo 73,50. Un po’ sopra la media. Il servizio purtroppo l ho trovato un po’ lento e disattento. Spesso si dimenticavano di noi.
Tutto sommato bene. Molto buona la torta fritta.

If you want to eat well, but really well, with friendly staff, you can't miss trying Trattoria Campanini. For starters, don't miss Culatello and cooked shoulder with fried dumplings. Try it also with Gorgonzola. First courses well you can't go wrong, for me Tortelli Zucca e Amaretti TOP. According to Mariola, do you want to know what it is? I'm not telling you, try it 😉 ps book well in advance or show up after a bike ride making sweet eyes and maybe they can give you a table, as happened to me yesterday.
