Everything you'd expect to find in a historic local trattoria. Warm, unpretentious hospitality, a smile when needed, and all the dishes, from the appetizer onward, are of the highest quality and perfectly executed. I hadn't been here in a few years, and I was afraid the memory would overshadow the reality. Everything was excellent, and the spalla cotta alla san secondo was superb, accompanied by a torta fritta beyond compare. Bravo! 👏👏

Ladies and gentlemen, tradition and excellence are served here, just like in the days of Mario Soldati. Everything is authentic, genuine, and genuine. Exceptional cured meats (the Spalla Cotta is amazing) accompanied by torta fritta (not gnocco fritto, as some inexperienced reviewers have suggested!). Spectacular first courses, the best stuffed pasta. And then, when the weather permits (late fall/winter), her majesty the Mariola, paired with savory zabaglione. A special mention to the staff, their genuine kindness is typical of a true trattoria. A true favorite!

Everything as it should be. Homemade cured meats are devastating. The hot cooked shoulder is incredible. Excellent torta fritta and a trio of really good first courses. The price is fair for what you get. If I had to find anything that could be improved, it would be the wine list. For everything else, I highly recommend it. Definitely worth a try.

Classic suburban trattoria with its history. Excellent cuisine and helpful service. Clean and tidy environment. Good choice of dishes (one better than the other). Reservations recommended. A place to return to. I recommend!

Locale caratteristico, strapieno oggi, consiglio prenotazione. Personale disponibilissimo e gentilissimo. Antipasti misti cavallo di battaglia, con culatello e spalla cotta, oltre alla famosa torta fritta a valanga. Tris di primi in crescendo. Dolci discreti. Prezzo un po' alto

Ci siamo fermati un po’ per caso in questo locale. Venivamo da un fuori porta e ci siamo fermati in questa trattoria. Buona cena . I piatti erano buoni . Essendo lunedì ( l’abbiamo scoperto dopo) non fanno secondi. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto di salumi con torta fritta , due primi , due dolci, 1/2 lt di vino della casa e acqua. Prezzo 73,50. Un po’ sopra la media. Il servizio purtroppo l ho trovato un po’ lento e disattento. Spesso si dimenticavano di noi. Tutto sommato bene. Molto buona la torta fritta.
