Two of us ate for lunch on a beautiful, almost spring day, March 2, 2025... we ordered an appetizer (beef tongue with green sauce), a first course (pappardelle with roe deer ragu), a second course (sliced beef with potatoes and artichokes) and a dessert made by them (Mantovana with chestnut flour, ricotta and yogurt), two glasses of wine, water offered by them and two place settings. For a total of €57 for two. I would say excellent price. Everything was very good, perhaps the cut wasn't very large in quantity but nothing to say about the quality. The first one however was plentiful. The cake is delicious, you can tell it's homemade.
The place is gorgeous both outside and inside, the bathroom is also clean (gorgeous sink😂).
Not only do I recommend but I will return if I return to these areas.

Sarà il lugo così fuori mano, oggigiorno,ma così antico.sara'la fame quando ci si arriva , ma questo è uno dei miei ristorante del cuore.piccolo , semplice ma ci trovo sempre un piatto che mi stuzzica.proprietaro burbero come tutti i garfagnini ma ti fa' sentire a casa.ottime le paste sia vegetali che animali ,formaggi e salumi selezionati.baccala'buoissimo e buona cantina.conto onesto,digestione tranquilla.se non chiude lui i tornerò sempre!

Not the best restaurant in terms of quality/price ratio.
Nice location, the idea is to diversify from the typical trattoria but in the end the rewards are not recognised.
Second courses are better than first courses or starters, mediocre desserts. Experience not to be repeated

Great place to have lunch or dinner.
Family atmosphere with dishes with an ancient and original flavour.
Excellent value for money and excellent choice of wines too.
