Not the best restaurant in terms of quality/price ratio. Nice location, the idea is to diversify from the typical trattoria but in the end the rewards are not recognised. Second courses are better than first courses or starters, mediocre desserts. Experience not to be repeated

Great place to have lunch or dinner. Family atmosphere with dishes with an ancient and original flavour. Excellent value for money and excellent choice of wines too.

Trattoria located between Gallicano and Castelnuovo Garfagnana. Excellent food with excellent first courses but above all known for its excellent meat. The wines are good, perhaps not exactly convenient in terms of quality/price ratio. Small but pleasant and intimate internal location. Free parking near the venue.

We went to this restaurant for dinner... It is located just outside Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. As soon as we entered the environment is warm and welcoming, we had dinner on the upper floor, very well renovated to maintain the atmosphere of the Garfagnani homes combined with a touch of modernity that does not ruin the location! We had two starters, two main courses and a side dish. An appetizer with cured meats and a tartare... both truly excellent quality! For the second course, excellent lamb chops and exceptional suckling pig, crunchy on the outside and melting in your mouth on the inside. All accompanied by amazing fried mushrooms! The wine list with a good choice of wines from cellars not chosen at random but sought after. Good prices for the quality of the products and for the care of everything! If we return to those areas it will definitely be a stop we will do again!

Had lunch here on the advice of our hotelier @villabertagni. Nice atmosphere, good food and a hostess who welcomes you warmly. We didn't feel like having pasta for a while and ate tartare and lamb chops. Very tasty. Be sure to try the tiramisu. Reservations are recommended.

We passed this hidden gem like five times on our way to Castelnuovo , when on the six time we decided to give it a try. NO REGRETS! The food is absolutely delicious, from the starter, 1st course, 2nd course to desert, just beautiful flavors. This restaurant definitely made to our regular spots when we come to the region.

We stopped for a quick dinner by selecting the place via Google. The restaurant is home-made and offers a varied menu. We think it is mainly aimed at foreign tourists since we found the dishes quite tasty. Although easily accessible and convenient parking, the location is not the best as the external tables are close to the road with only a pergola as a division. Overall, full satisfactory but we don't feel like giving more. We would probably try another place if we were in the area again.
