The place is a bit dated; we ate outside, and the seating is practically on the street, though there aren't many cars. The food wasn't bad, though the selection is limited. Especially today, the tomatoes were out, the liter of water was out, the cold cuts hadn't arrived, and the tortelli weren't available, so we had to settle for less...
By the way, they offered us Tuscan crostini with cold cuts, but then only the prosciutto arrived, and the mortadella they were supposed to serve us, which never arrived, was also sold out. Average price: an appetizer and a first course cost €22.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves them. The restaurant, with its mostly female staff, is a gem; small but well-organized. The food is out of this world, beautifully presented, and with distinct flavors. They make their own bread, and... The only flaw? The tiramisu is made with cream, but we can overlook that. Highly recommended; the 16 of us had a spectacular meal!

The restaurant is run by a group of very capable young people. If you want to experience typical Tuscan cuisine, this is the right place. In addition to the restaurant, there is a shop that offers cheeses and typical Tuscan bread cooked in a wood oven.

Dopo anni, la qualità non è cambiata ed è sempre eccellente. Antipasti migliorabili, il resto OK. L'accoglienza è migliorata molto, la vecchia gestione era "stanca", dicevano spesso che non c'era posto, ma non era vero. Riuscivo a prenotare molto raramente. Una delle poche "locande con cucina" sopravvissute in Toscana.
