A place run by a wonderful woman and her friend, who welcome you with a smile and serve authentic, excellent food! The wisteria in bloom is a must-see.

Cuisine as it once was, simple, authentic, and with a thousand nuances, different every time, never the same, but always delicious. One of those hidden gems, now extremely rare, which fortunately still exist, where you can eat and feel at home—even at home, I'd say—where the passion, kindness, and friendliness of those who welcome you reign supreme. Very typical local Italian restaurant. Pici alla Nona (duck) amazing, tasty and al dente. Then trippa and simil rosbeef also very tasty, maybe too much oil. Good panna cotta.

09/01/2026: The restaurant is very elegant and the outdoor garden is truly beautiful. The food is good, with some sophisticated dishes, though perhaps not all of them were perfectly executed. For example, the carbonara crostini, which I didn't like. The fillet steak, on the other hand, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The high price is partially justified by the beauty of the location.
09/12/2025: Amazing experience, highly recommend. The quality of the food and service was wonderful, especially being much more affordable than majority of competitors. Also note that it is very gluten friendly.

03/05/2026: I hadn't been back for years, it's changed management. I hadn't been back because they'd expanded too much and it felt more like a festival than a restaurant. We made the mistake of going on a Saturday night, and despite having a reservation, there was a frustrating line for a table and a strange "table-hopping" system where a table for three became available and they were looking for a group of three in the line. Sorry, but did I book or not? It's nonsense, something I've never seen anywhere else. Otherwise, once we managed to get a table, the service was courteous and fast, the food was good, and the price was okay. I'd go back, but not on a Saturday night.
03/05/2026: Excellent, truly high-quality cuisine and prompt service. Both are commendable given the huge number of patrons.
