08/12/2024: Atmosphere: cleaned up tavern Nice place, a little cleaned up from that patina of a historic tavern, but still welcoming. Food: valid Given the proximity to Ponte Vecchio, therefore the very tourist area, I was afraid of similar dishes. I was happy to change my mind. I would say perfect tomato soup, right serving temperature, tasty. Fiorentina matured very well, 1 month as the innkeeper informed me, when cut it released practically no blood. In my opinion and my preference, the cooking was excellent, perhaps 1 minute less to be picky, but it was still very soft and the fat very tasty. It didn't need any other seasoning. Service: innkeeper I was served by the typical bold, Tuscan host, ready to joke, but without being excessively intrusive. Price: online The Florentine has an honest price and in line with other restaurants. The tomato soup, €12, a little expensive.

08/12/2024: All the food was very good, the spaghetti was great and the bistecca alla fiorentina was quite delicious. The prices were appropriate for the food. The only bad thing was that the place is small and there was a lot of noise, and that a waiter dropped a plate, but despite that they treated us like 10 and solved it as quickly as they could. Very good place, highly recommended in the city center.
