Amazing experience at Trattoria Bertozzi! / Extraordinary experience at Trattoria Bertozzi! We had a wonderful gastronomic experience at Trattoria Bertozzi! From the impeccable service to the incredible flavors, everything was simply fantastic. The first waiter recommended the starter and the main course, and both were absolutely perfect. For dessert, the lady who served us suggested the panna cotta with caramel and the brownie—both were divine! Another waiter was also extremely kind and attentive, making our evening even more special. We regret not asking for their names because they truly deserve all the praise. We leave with a taste of “wanting more,” and we are sure that every time we come to Bologna, this place will be in our hearts. Somewhat far from our hotel but with great reviews so we ventured out. And it's not a bad walk so we didn't really even mind it. Started with the mortadella mouse/potato souffle, which were a few interesting bites. We didn't think either of the pastas were standouts: gramigna & tortellini in brodo. The latter was particularly disappointing because it's one of the main dishes to try in the area, but it's just a bit boring (but maybe this is just what this dish is). We got a side of spinach that we probably didn't need but it was nicely done. Ended with the lamb chop, which was well cooked and the potato it was served with was perfectly lightly seared.

After visiting the Sanctuary of San Luca, we had lunch at this trattoria that offers traditional Bolognese dishes. We had a great time. The mortadella appetizer was delicious, the tagliatelle were excellent. The price was normal. Very friendly staff!

Bolognese tradition without frills. The tortellini and tagliatelle were excellent. The passatelli off the menu, with lightly seared asparagus and crispy raw ham really good. The braised meat is never wrong. We also had a meatloaf off the menu, maybe a little too hot, but still with an excellent taste. Service with a marked Bolognese accent really attentive, fast but with all the lightness of the Bolognese culture. Well done!

We ate at 8:51 PM. For two, we had a wonderful time. Everything was delicious. The waiter was a delight, and he even recommended something unrelated to his work. If you're looking for a place to eat typical Bologna food, you've come to the right place. The atmosphere, service, and food were incredible. Thanks to Lorenzo Bénédetta, Dasha, Jacopo, and the chef for this wonderful meal.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The staff is friendly and fun, and the food is excellent. It’s classic Bolognese cooking - high-quality local ingredients, simple, humble, and full of flavor. I had a great time bantering with the waiter, and the food arrived quickly without ever feeling rushed.

Always well attended, moreover by Bolognese, symptom of a cuisine consistent with expectations: book in advance. Good wine list (explained verbally by the staff) and with a nice selection of bubbles, even French. I recommend the first courses but especially the roast potatoes, truly made to perfection.

A lovely restaurant with very nice food and good service. The food was lovely as it was also our first night in Bologna we tried a few of the local dishes and the wine selection was very good and very reasonably priced. you get the feel it is very much a locals restaurant and as a non local i feel our table was not the best even though we had booked and booked for an early time slot - it was the one in the picture right by the toilet and a screen separating the opening of the toilet to the table would have made me give the restaurant 5 stars
