A surprise! Luckily, even though it was Saturday, we were able to book. We weren't familiar with this restaurant, but it surprised us with its attention to detail, despite its large seating capacity, the inventiveness of the dishes (the desserts were incredible!), and the attention to flavor combinations and plating. Very good value. We'll be back!

A very nice and elegant location, very good food and adequate portions. Service was average. My only complaint is that the prices for desserts and cover charge are a bit too high. Overall, though, I recommend it and I liked it!

My fiancé and I spent a wonderful evening at this restaurant, where the food is truly delicious. We started with a delicious beef tartare and, for our second course, grilled calamari, cooked to perfection. The desserts were a real surprise: meticulously presented and exceptionally flavorful. Kudos to all the staff!

08/11/2025: Excellent pizza and pizzeria. Simply the best pizzas we've ever eaten. We've tried quite a few in France and Italy, but this one is truly the best. The flavors of the ingredients are fresh and perfectly balanced. The chef is very friendly and readily explains the history of his pizza dough and answers all our questions. The waitress is also very friendly and speaks English for those who don't speak Italian, like us.

08/12/2025: Located less than a kilometer from the center of Portovenere, La Chiglia restaurant was one of the best surprises of our holiday here. The restaurant is seafront with parking, and the food, service, and friendliness are five-star. If you're in the area and want to eat expertly prepared, fresh fish and more, this is the place for you.
24/11/2025: We stopped for a quick spaghetti, we were in a hurry, on November 23rd, almost everything was closed... we ate seafood spaghetti, good, plentiful and well made, excellent trofie with pesto... we didn't try anything else but the dishes we saw passing by seemed well presented and well made... nice location, friendly staff, normal prices... I highly recommend it
