Simply lovely. When you have just arrived after a long journey in a strange place, or are just feeling like you need to be looked after, this is the place for you. Really welcoming and friendly service (even for dog Jasper) with delicious wholesome freshly cooked Italian fare. Perfetto!

We dined at this restaurant in central Bologna to experience a local trattoria serving traditional Emilian cuisine. The staff was friendly, and the dishes fully met our expectations. The escalopes Bolognese were particularly popular. The only flaw is the lack of transparency regarding prices. Compared to those listed here on Google Maps and in customer photos from just three months ago, we noticed a substantial increase (for example, escalopes Bolognese were €20 instead of €16). It would be interesting to see if the dishes return to their previous prices after the holidays, as the revised menu has now perfectly fulfilled its mission of "plucking tourists," a category to which I also belong... It remains a recommended restaurant for those who would like to try traditional cuisine.

Very nice atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent, the best place I've eaten in Bologna. I highly recommend it! The tortellini of all kinds and the Scaloppina alla Bolognese are a must!!

The food was good: tasty and very affordable. The service was fine, and the food came in quickly. The interior is very old: the speaker is so small that it sounded like someone played music on their phone, the toilet was old and broken (no toilet seat), and the lighting was very bright and white. However, good for a quick tasty meal, just not very cozy / romantic.

The atmosphere is relaxed and authentically Bolognese — exactly what you hope to find in a traditional trattoria. I enjoyed tortellini in brodo, a piatto di salumi as a starter, and a misto di carni for the main course. Each dish was prepared with care and respect for local tradition, with flavours that felt both comforting and thoughtfully balanced. A lovely spot for anyone looking to enjoy friendly service, a calm setting, and well‑crafted regional food. I left with a smile and would be happy to return.

A place where you can eat like you're in an Italian home, where the food is excellent. No frills, just a great atmosphere and good food. The service is very good and friendly.
