Trattoria Barcaneta In Marano lagunare

We had lunch for four in a traditional yet refined setting. The quality of the ingredients was undisputed. Kudos to the kitchen, which offers strictly local seafood dishes but with delicious and innovative recipes. The cooked and raw appetizers were excellent. We didn't order first courses, but the second courses were truly surprising in their quality and refinement. The house desserts were inviting and delicious (except for the lemon sorbet, which was a bit light and "bland"...the only slight disappointment in an excellent lunch). Excellent value for money. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Definitely worth revisiting.

Everything was perfect, I don't know what else to say. Even the seasonal pumpkin menu had truly tempting options, and besides being beautifully presented, it was also very good.

I was lucky enough to dine at this restaurant. A very high-level place. Attention to detail, even more performance, excellent value for money, top-quality fried food inside there was a red mullet that I hadn't eaten in years. You can see all the passion, even more so I saw visible even the behind the scenes they don't hide, they put bread baskets at the entrance. The bar counter expresses the naturalness, the ingenuity of those who are there razor blades. I recommend this restaurant. A fixed stop for those who want to try high quality.

Other reviewers have already said it all: top-notch from A to Z. Five of us dined, and every dish, whether antipasto, primo, secondo, or dolce, was exceptionally good. Wonderfully presented, each on a different, original plate. A fantastic wine selection – Friulian, national, and international. Very friendly and flexible service: there was a misunderstanding during our phone reservation; there was no table available... But the problem was resolved within a minute, despite the full house. The outdoor dining area offers a beautiful view of the romantic piazza of Marano Lagunare. What more could you want?! Congratulations and thank you for a delicious experience that will stay with us forever.

Without a doubt, the food at Barcaneta is high-quality and, above all, delicious. But everything has its price! Unlike many restaurants here, there's no menu outside the restaurant to help you get an idea of ​​what's on offer and your budget beforehand. You go in and expect everything, good AND bad. Unfortunately, we felt like, as tourists, we were just being fed quickly. We're not that fluent in Italian yet, but we're happy to try our best verbally out of respect—after all, we're guests in this wonderful country! The service, however, didn't go the extra mile in this regard. They also didn't seem as enthusiastic when it became clear that we only wanted a main course and not the full Italian package of antipasti, primi, and secondi, plus wine like at the neighboring tables. Conclusion: Very well-prepared food, at upper-mid-range prices, with somewhat blasé service.

A Marano Lagunare molti vanno anche solo per cenare, ed evidentemente una ragione c’e’. La Barcaneta e’ evidentemente un ottimo testimonial della vocazione culinaria del luogo, ovviamente incentrata sui prodotti del mare e della pesca. Tutto molto buono, con una citazione speciale per le linguine fatte a mano con i fasolari, per la seppia in umido e per un meraviglioso tortino di frolla con crema chantilly e fragole. Locale molto simpatico sia dentro che fuori e prezzi adeguati al prodotto e alla cucina proposti.

Un ottimo pranzo e un ottimo servizio! Bel locale con piatti molto buoni a base di pesce fresco. Servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo mangiato Sarde in saor, Tagliolini fatti in casa con fasolari, fritto misto e fritto di calamari. Consigliato!
