13/11/2024: We ate at your restaurant on 11/7/24. The ambience and arrangements in the large room of the old winemaker's house are very attractive and festive. The reception and your service staff were very friendly and accommodating. All of the wines offered with the meal were a very good recommendation and went perfectly with the four selected dishes. The starter “cream cheese with beetroot” was red but didn’t taste like the latter. The tuna was absolutely top with the Asian touch from wasabi/teriyaki and especially the algae, also from a visual perspective. But then the subsequent dishes subside. The pasta with eggplant pesto wasn't just visually unappealing. The basic taste of eggplant was not recognizable. When it comes to bruschetta, I can only recommend sticking with the classic. Then the tomato - ideally with olive oil and garlic - would come to the fore. I see bruschetta as a light starter, but with mozzarella it becomes a heavy meal. And now about the octopus: more Mediterranean would be tastier in my opinion; The sweet potato puree lacks expression and is no match for the strong, heavily grilled octopus. My recommendation: let the basic products taste more thoroughly. The passion fruit cream for dessert was again excellent.
