I like the atmosphere stuck in the 60s/70s but that's fine. Excellent food. I've been there before and I definitely recommend it.

15/05/2026: The restaurant has changed management and name (it's now called Caluso). It's a good place. I think they've nailed the perfect lunchtime formula: simple, well-cooked, and reasonably priced. Today I had a classic: spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce, which was tasty and not overcooked (and certainly not pre-cooked). It's worth returning often, as a matter of course, just like the glorious Taverna Rossa before Covid. It's a shame there are so few customers (the legacy of the two previous managements must be heavy, and rebuilding a reputation is no easy feat). Let's give them a hand.
09/05/2026: Excellent cuisine, friendly and fast service. I recommend this place for lunch or dinner with friends or family. The fish is the highlight.

20/05/2026: In my opinion, this is one of the best Moroccan bakeries in Turin. In addition to pastries (shortbread cookies filled with dried fruit, almond paste, or dates, small fried puff pastries, and other wonderful treats), you can find puff pastry cakes filled with almond paste, soft tarts, frangipane-filled tarts, and a wonderful baklava. Plus, there's a refrigerated counter full of creamy single-serving treats, each more beautiful than the last. And they even sell bread! I can highly recommend their msemen, a flaky flatbread, which is perfect! The prices are very fair and the staff are friendly. I always love stopping by!
19/04/2026: I bought the "gazelle horns" in several variations. I had never tried this dessert before, and I loved it. I'll be back to try other specialties.
