A historic Bolognese trattoria. I've lived in Bologna for 10 years and had never been there (I'll make up for lost time). Family-run, the atmosphere is simple, but the many memories hanging on the walls make it welcoming. I had one of the best tagliatelle with ragù I've ever had in the city. I highly recommend it if you want traditional food at prices that are hard to find these days. Well done, keep it up!

It's truly like stepping back in time, the place and especially the dishes.
The tagliatelle are spectacular, made strictly with a rolling pin: chunky, just the way I like them, wrinkled, and hold the ragù in place, each one unique. It's been a while since I've eaten them like this.
Everything homemade.
Excellent value.
First courses €10, second courses €9-11 for the Bolognese cutlet.
€4, side dish €2, appetizer €1 crescentina with prosciutto, dessert €4
Appetizer, first course, dessert, wine, water €82 for four. €21 per person.

This historic trattoria, just a 10-minute walk from the center, is like stepping back in time. As soon as you enter this charming trattoria, you'll feel like you're at home, a place that has remained true to the principles of good food. Traditional menu and generous portions at extremely fair prices. The service is truly top-notch, fast, and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Vera cucina bolognese economica.
Everything was truly excellent. A quaint place that hasn't changed much since years past, but that's its beauty. Homemade first courses are excellent and plentiful. Fair prices. All accompanied by attentive and friendly service. Definitely recommended!

Antipasto, primo e dolce. Acqua,vino,amaro. Davvero ottima qualità, ottimo servizio, ottima accoglienza, prezzi equi!! Finalmente un bel posto dove portare persone da fuori. Le trattorie, quelle belle, che ti fanno ricordare com era la Bologna di una volta!!! L unica pecca che è sempre pieno e bisogna prenotare per tempo. Ma è un esperienza che vale la pena fare. Grazie a tutti coloro che lavorano li dentro

Il locale è a 50 metri dalla via Emilia e oltre mezzo secolo fa, quando non c'era la tangenziale autostradale intorno a Bologna, per andare da Milano a Rimini, anche i camion passavano di qua. Forse questo spiega il nome, incomprensibile oggi per una trattoria che ora è quasi centrale. D'altra parte, il mondo tutt'intorno gli è cambiato, ma l'Autotreno no. Si comincia con una crescentina (gnocco) fritta con prosciutto, poi si passa alla tagliatella, considerata una delle migliori nella provincia di Bologna + gli altri primi della tradizione e i secondi, a cominciare dalla cotoletta alla bolognese. Piatti abbondanti, da camionisti, e prezzi popolari. E forza Bologna!
