Well, talking about Colorno without mentioning this historic family-run trattoria makes no sense. Reservations are a must for weekend lunches; the kindness, honesty, and deliciousness of the dishes are paramount. Seating is limited, well-served and beautifully laid out, for those who still believe that dining should be done with love. Closed in the evenings. In October, the sweet tortelli are a must, but the orange ones are embarrassingly sublime.

We went to visit the Colorno Royal Palace and stopped at this trattoria. We ate divinely and got the price right. €38 for a fabulous menu. See attachment. Excellent food, as well as wine. We can only thank the lady who hosted us for her kindness and courtesy.

The trio of tortelli is excellent. The portions aren't large, but they're reasonable for the price. The desserts are worth trying. Friendly service. A stone's throw from the palace.

We had a great meal, with a mixed cured meats appetizer and an asparagus lasagna. Everything was delicious. Thanks to Lina, the owner, who is always very kind and professional.

02/11/2025: Nice restaurant on the way to the Magnani Rocca Foundation. We arrived with our small dog, who they then made us take back to the car because they don't allow dogs. This obviously ruined our stay, especially since Google Maps (as per attachment) says "dogs allowed." I pointed this out at the cashier, and the gentleman denied it. I asked him to correct it by saying "DOGS NOT ALLOWED" to avoid future misunderstandings with other dog owners. The food was average; you decide for yourself whether or not to go without a pet, of course.
20/10/2025: Excellent traditional cuisine, friendly and helpful wait staff. If the fillet had been served with caramelized onions, I would have given it an extra star. Congratulations, Ernesto, thanks for the welcome!
