Excellent fish tavern in the center of TRIESTE. Friendly, friendly and pleasant staff. Simple but good and tasty dishes. I'll be back!

The type of menu and the courses have an optimal quality-price ratio. However, what would make me desist from returning is the type of absolutely impersonal service, abandoning those present when the waiter/waitress appears to ask for a bottle of water or a coffee. It's a shame because the preparations are excellent and the environment, although not sophisticated, is clean and welcoming. The creamed cod, the sardines in saor and the fish soup are plentiful and tasty. If a person wants to eat fish at a cheap price but without discounts on quality, this is the right place, if they are looking for a place to party in the evening, change destination. Compliments to the chef.

Having passed by chance, we found ourselves in a familiar environment, good dishes and a decent quantity, excellent and friendly service. Soft and delicate baby octopus and good cod with polenta (although I prefer the soft white one compared to the yellow one served with this type of dish) If we were to return to Triesta we would return

11/02/2025: Excellent restaurant found by chance asking a local passerby. Excellent food and generous portions, excellent mixed frying and spaghetti alla busa with scampi we ordered. Excellent service. Very well looked after inside, in good weather it must be fabulous to have lunch or dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea or in front of the marina. Prices in line with restaurants in the area.
02/02/2025: Unfortunately we were disappointed by the flavors that were not up to the cost. Not to mention the glass of wine with a level so low as to border on our complaints. Unfortunately I have to admit that the average star rating that doesn't reach 4 is deserved. Now I understood why after two phone calls to full restaurants this one was half empty.

18/10/2024: Una delle ultime domeniche di sole pieno e temperatura perfetta di settembre, a pranzo col mio migliore amico. Servizio impeccabile, location splendida, bevuto benissimo sia al tavolo che al bar, i "sardoni impanadi" strepitosi. Buoni i crudi, un po meno il risotto scampi e funghi e gli gnocchi ai fasolari (sughetto ottimo) che erano stracotti. Il tiramisu' fatto al momento merita. Nell' insieme una giornata (dalle 12 alle 19 la nostra permanenza al sole) da ricordare!
30/08/2024: Cocktail pre cena deliziosi Davvero da tanto non bevevo così bene! Crudo molto bene anche se mi aspettavo porzione più abbondante Gnocchetto molto buono! Posto easy ma delizioso con meravigliosa vista
