Family atmosphere, fixed menu, very fresh food and fish

Unique experience, delicious pasta and fresh fish cooked with passion and experience. Grilled with space sea bass. The owner and chef are very welcoming and friendly. Price more than fair for the quality and quantity of fish. Very welcoming and characteristic atmosphere. We stumbled upon it by chance but will return on purpose. Highly recommended for anyone. Cozy, cozy, warm place, with a few well-spaced seats (great added value for me), excellent food. We ate the fixed menu (wine, sparkling water, starter, first course, second course, dessert and digestive). All delicious, homemade (fresh pasta included), and with generous portions. If I have to find a single flaw, they could improve the extraction of the hood given that we left the room with decidedly "scented" clothes. But it's a flaw that they have many trattorias with an open kitchen communicating with the dining room. Except for that, we had a wonderful evening and will definitely return. One of the few "real" places left in the center of Trieste after the mass arrival of tourists. Price absolutely correct and in line with the quality of the food.

Authentic soulful and delicious Triestine experience. The host Paolo makes all the pasta himself and if you’re lucky will sit at the table with you and share pearls of wisdom from his many lives, while playing eclectic music. The highlight of our trip! Thanks Paolo 🩷

A place of the heart! We stumbled upon it by chance on the recommendation of locals. As soon as we entered we felt at home. Really cozy place with pleasant and tasteful background music. The menu is not fixed and the chef cooks the dishes based on the catch of the day. My boyfriend is allergic to prawns and so he changed the first course for us at the moment with excellent cuttlefish ink tagliolini with clams. Excellent food and super welcoming and friendly staff. You don't choose what you eat but we really liked this method. If we return to Trieste we will definitely return.

A truly very particular restaurant, outside the usual "concepts"! You don't have a menu, you sit down and the chef does everything! So everything is very fresh and made on the spot!
