Lovely meal at Trattoria all Colonna. Very important to book in the evening but we managed to eat without a reservation on Tuesday at lunchtime.
Typical local well cooked food from an osteria. Lovely beef carpaccio, followed by penne a la casa which was full of flavour very tasty indeed. All washed down with a beautiful local Veronese red beer - superb! You can get wines by the glass as well.
Big thanks also to the kind staff and young man who helped get back an important pink bag full of insulin for my type 1 diabetic fiancé - grazie mille!!

A true family trattoria where you can feel the authenticity and passion.
We tried the gnocchi with Gorgonzola—excellent—and the cotoletta, half plain and half with Parmesan cheese and porcini mushrooms: both spectacular! (Although I couldn't eat it all.)
The desserts?
One of the best tiramisu I've ever tasted—homemade, authentic, and just like in times gone by.
And the zuppa inglese… a real show stopper, worth the visit alone!
Impeccable service, kind and welcoming staff, and the owner treated us like we were his family.
We can't wait to return ❤️❤️❤️

A sure thing. After several days in northern Italy with sky-high prices, we found this trattoria where the food is good, with a pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. You have to get there early because the kitchen closes at 2:30. We arrived very late, but they did give us something to eat. The risotto with traditional wine was very good. Definitely recommended!

I spent 4 days in Verona, and I couldn't miss a stop at the Trattoria alla Colonna, just a stone's throw from our hotel Palazzo Biasini. What can I say? There are no words, a welcoming location, friendly staff, especially the owner, not to mention the super cotoletta they make, huge and super good. I recommend stopping there if you happen to be in Verona.

Great place for those looking for real traditional cuisine. Cozy and friendly atmosphere, mostly locals — definitely not a tourist trap. Portions are generous (we couldn’t even finish!) and everything was tasty. Coperto is €2, fair. Highly recommended!

We went here to try the famously best cutlet...and we truly ate the best cutlet. Luckily, we ordered the small one, a nice slice the size of a regular plate. I would definitely go back to try other tempting dishes.

Stavamo cercando un locale tipico in centro e fortunatamente ci siamo imbattuti in questa trattoria, c’è piaciuta così tanto che siamo tornati anche il giorno dopo.
L’atmosfera è tranquilla e accogliente, lo staff gentile, il servizio rapido e i piatti buonissimi; sia quelli della tradizione come il risotto all’amarone sia le loro cotolette!
Le porzioni sono abbondanti e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, torneremmo a Verona solo per mangiare di nuovo il loro stracotto di asino con polenta.
