Historic place in Verona with space cutlets! Recommended

The main thing that attracted us to the restaurant was the prices but we absolutely fell in love with everything there. The place looked very cozy and nostalgic, although if you’re not a fan of calcio (football) you might think it’s a bit much. The staff were super nice and when I tried talking to them in Italian they were really friendly and answered back very politely and slowly enough. The food was great, I would maybe like a little bit more of the spaghetti alla carbonara but it tasted delicious. Other than that we had a wonderful bruschetta, penne alla casa and two glasses of Prosecco. We also wanted a tiramisu but we came a little late and they were already closing the kitchen so we didn’t want to bother. Overall if I could give more than just 5 stars I absolutely would. 12/10

Very welcoming place, not very big but you are comfortable, friendly and professional staff, very very tasty dishes, we had polenta with mushrooms and cured meats and cheese for a starter, it was delicious, a trio of first courses, one better than the other, a tagliatelle with amarone, I still have the flavor and delicacy of the meat in the mouth a polenta with rabbit that amazed me with the very particular flavor of the rabbit that I had never tasted rabbit so delicious everything really very good we will be back as soon as possible too bad we are not of the area.

Luogo assolutamente accogliente e ben curato. Siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e professionalità. Pietanze davvero ottime e soprattutto la famosa orecchia di elefante ( taglia media) era divina.

Very nice place, small and welcoming, it's a shame that the seats near the French window are subject to drafts. The wait staff was excellent, friendly and kind.

Ottimo cibo, ottime bistecche e risotto all'amarone e buono anche il vino sfuso..ci sono stato per la quarta volta e l'unico consiglio che do è di mettere il cartello "tutto pieno" fuori per evitare un continuo flusso di persone che entrano per chiedere se c'è posto e nel mentre fanno entrare il freddo che colpisce tutti coloro che sono seduti nelle vicinanze della porta d'ingresso..per il resto ci tornerò sicuramente.

Space cutlet!! I wanted to make a "small" note and compliment to the girls on duty this evening: despite the fact that a rude gentleman spent the whole evening complaining about everything, embodying a pseudo connoisseur of multi-starred restaurants (unfortunately I had him in front of me, I couldn't help but listen to him) they all managed to always maintain a big smile and professionalism; great!

Had an amazing lunch. The saliami toped cutlet was to die for! Super friendly prices. P.S. Medium size cutlet can feed two hungry adults easily!

Slow service! We waited 45 minutes for an amarone risotto... then absolutely very good and the cutlet was also good. Courteous staff, fair price.
