Informal place, very fresh and well cooked fish. The homemade tagliolini is excellent, the frying is very good and the catch of the day is cooked to perfection. When we return to Trieste we will definitely come to eat the fish.

A wonderful evening in #Trieste. #LaCasettadeMama is a small and well-kept restaurant that offers an excellent menu mainly of fresh fish. The staff presents themselves elegantly with professionalism and friendliness. Always attentive to needs The carefully presented fish starter is rich and simply delicious (see photo). From tuna tartare, to amberjack carpaccio, creamed cod, very sweet raw scampi, sardines in savor, etc. ALL FRESH! Then also a mixed gratin (see photo). My taste buds are still grateful! Tempted by sweets... I resisted and settled for a small glass of Terano Liqueur. The owners, I later learned, know what they're doing. I have veteran experience and professionalism. I'm now curious to try their fried food! See you at La casa de Mama! P.s. next to the restaurant there is a supermarket car park.
