Really good dishes, tortelli with butter and sage the best I've ever eaten, tartare with quality meat and very well combined (egg, mustard, capers etc..)
Fast service and very kind staff

It is recommended that you go as soon as it opens, otherwise you may have to wait for an empty table. The pasta and meat were very good. The panna cotta prepared woth amarena cherries was excellent.

A "time machine" experience, 50s style dining room, open only for lunch, no reservations accepted. Right in the center of Modena, it has no windows on the street, you enter as if it were a private apartment. It is certainly worth a visit if you appreciate the cuisine and the "old-fashioned" places. Very pleasant overall feeling, you go there to eat the dishes offered, not to photograph them and post them on Instagram. A rarity.

Everything is delicious, abundant, typical and tasty dishes.
So much kindness and friendliness of the staff.
…. Luckily it is a bit “hidden” and from the outside it is not very noticeable, because otherwise it would always be full and walled up and I would not be able to go back!

On the first floor right in front of the Albinelli Historical Market, frequented by both tourists and locals, the Aldina restaurant is also a historic place with old-fashioned furnishings, typical old-fashioned cuisine and traditional recipes. The tagliatelle with ragù are exquisite, the classic green lasagna is good as is the gramigna with red sausage and cream ragù, all accompanied by a good glass of Lambrusco. To return. Recommended

I ordered the lasagna. The presentation was not the best. I found the pasta itself too soft, like it was either overcooked or reheated. I was expecting a little more ragu between the layers and less bechamel. Also, I felt a little heavy on the fat. Maybe it was a bad day... I would go back to try something else.

... ed è da prendere come tale. Una vera trattoria (e già il fatto che sia al primo piano di un vecchio stabile nel pieno centro di Modena la rende tale), menù tipico che èiù tipico non si può, non accetta prenotazioni, servizio rapido, diretto (ma professionale), prezzo corretto, vi auguro solo di riuscire a trovare posto...
Consiglio di guardare gli orari di aprtura, tendenzialmente è aperto solo per il pranzo.

La razón principal para ir a Modena es probar Trattoria Aldina. Llegué media hora después de la apertura por eso el restaurante ya estaba lleno.
Si vas a ir solo un sábado, puede que te resulte difícil conseguir una mesa. Me pidieron que me pusieran en lista de espera durante una hora. Le pregunté a la joven pareja italiana detrás de mí si están bien para acomodarme en su mesa porque estoy solo y vine desde París solo para un almuerzo y bla bla. ¡Por suerte, dijeron SÍ!
Tuvimos nuestra mesa en unos 30 minutos. Paola, la chica italiana recomendó tres degustaciones de pasta : tortellini en caldo, risotto con calabaza y vinagre balsámico (parece todo con el sabor a oro negro tan bueno) y tagliatelle al ragu. Con Lambrusco, por supuesto. Todo estaba delicioso y el queso mascarpone con pequeños trozos de pastel de chocolate es solo para morirse!
Toda la experiencia vale la pena la espera y la distancia!

I went to Trattoria Aldina and had a great time! Exceptional fried gnocco, delicious gramigna and the truly excellent mascarpone dessert. A welcoming atmosphere and authentic flavors that make you feel at home. I will definitely be back!
