I never do reviews, but here it deserves it. My partner and I came to eat 3 years ago and we still talk about it. It's a "down to earth" place with every positive meaning of the term. You are at home and you eat divinely. Especially after a week in the Bormio valley where you ALWAYS eat the same things. It's a shame that I found it by chance and not because it has a Name. You have passed on family. It is one of those places that we have in our hearts

I return to this restaurant after years and confirmed the excellent quality of the dishes. Home cooking, (15 euro polenta and venison, 10 euro pizzoccheri, 6 euro desserts). ATM accepted without problems

A very pleasant experience in this restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is not extensive, but of excellent quality. All really delicious! The staff were very kind, especially the head nurse, whose attention to the customer was much appreciated.

We found this lovely place, a dinner for me and my boyfriend and we were struck by the kindness and friendliness of the head nurse!! They offered us a VERY GOOD lentil appetizer!! It's a shame it's so far from where I live, otherwise we would have gladly returned!! Advised :)

Un' ottima trattoria dove gustare prodotti tipici della tradizione valtellinese. Personale molto gentile ed accogliente. Tagliatelle con i finferli top!

Salendo in Valtellina abbiamo trovato per cSo questa trattoria in un piccolo borgo poco distante dalla strada maestra. Il caso ci ha sorriso: ottimi piaci della tradizione locale, servizio veloce e accoglienza super! Al primo morso degli sciatt mi sono commossa!

Agriturismo Malga Valle dell'Alpe

04/09/2024: The Alpe hut is a small jewel located along the road to the Gavia pass. Located at 2239m above sea level, it is a small mountain hut where you can find simple and genuine cuisine. The environment is warm, very welcoming and the owners extremely kind. You will find excellent cheeses they produce as well as other products (especially jams). A stop is highly recommended even just for a delicious tart snack.
01/09/2024: ...fourth time in the summer...once on a MTB/E once on foot from Sunny Valley, once on foot and once on a motorbike...a certainty for a sublime and particular lunch stop...reservation required for me I recommend 👍🏻😉🍻

Bait Dal Ghet

18/01/2025: Spartan but welcoming family place. Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Aperitif and bitters always offered by the house. Highly recommended.
18/01/2025: In the car, on the way to Livigno at this very moment... Found out that this iconic place is closed for a while now, really hope everyone from the staff is doing well. Bait dal Ghet was not only a cozy place to have some delicious food, but a full on experience - from waiting in what seemed to be an endless line to get in, through having a couple too many drinks while being in this line, to leaving with a huge smile and never without a digestivo shot. Saluti!
