Honest dishes, good wild boar sauce, very thin egg pasta... for those who like it it's a delight (I prefer it more "ignorant"). I got a mascarpone cream (without amaretti) and I have to say it was remarkable. Interesting cut.
Prices in line with the area... maybe even cheaper... which isn't a bad thing.

We ate well in this restaurant, the staff was very kind and quick in service. The dishes are quality and well cooked. The only flaw is the area where we ate outdoors, it is nestled inside the village, on these very hot days it is not the best to eat outside. Certainly on a cool evening, eating within the ancient walls is evocative. Good value for money.

Typical restaurant with fair prices and friendly staff.
Perhaps the tables outside are poorly ventilated but luckily it wasn't hot.
The appetizers were very good, especially the platter and the cheeses. The asparagus and sausage triangles stuffed with caciotta are recommended, the polenta with wild boar ragout is good.
The sliced meat was excellent, we also tried the pigeon, the stuffing was good, but personally I wouldn't take it again, in the roasted rabbit it had too much seasoning for me and I didn't like it.
Overall I will definitely stay here again.

The Ristorante al Pozzo, in the village of Capalbio, is a pleasant discovery for those who love Tuscan cuisine. The place is simple, but welcoming, and the food is really good. The gnudi and asparagus triangles were the best dishes of the evening, well made and full of flavour.
The quality-price ratio is excellent, especially considering the quality of the raw materials. Furthermore, the location in the heart of the village makes the experience even more evocative.
If you're in the area, it's worth a stop.

Good restaurant in the historic center of Capalbio. We have pappardelle, triangles with asparagus and sausage and sliced meat. Friendly staff and rustic ambience. Excellent prices.

We found a very welcoming environment and a lot of courtesy and helpfulness. The appetizer was excellent with the slightly spicy cabbage rolls and the pici all'aglione, tasty and delicate.

We ate very well, excellent tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, good appetizer from the well and excellent Tuscan crostini, very good desserts, located in the historic center of Capalbio, a beautiful place.
