Before reviewing, I wanted to try two lunches: for the first, I ordered meat to be cooked on your stone at the table, and for the second, appetizers and first courses. Food - As for the meat on the stone, perhaps the whole thing could use a bit of a makeover. The formula might be nice, but the stone is too small, too uncomfortable, and the meat isn't exactly memorable... As for the appetizer + first course: I'd say it was better, more enjoyable, like an "old trattoria," which I like. Wine - Good selection of wines with the right markup. The beers, however, could use some rethinking. Ambience - Nice, relaxing, but they should install a proper exhaust ventilation system. The "cook your meat at the table" formula is a hallmark of theirs, but the dining room is full of smoke, and I'm really annoyed by the smell for a week. Price - Adequate for the food.

Everything is delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. Perfect service in a very elegant setting. In the summer, you can dine al fresco among the trees. Highly recommended.

Special mention goes to the soapstone cooking: an experience where you can enjoy spectacular and diverse meats, vegetables, and cheeses in good company. Generous portions. It feels like being in a mountain cabin. Excellent food; we had the mixed salad cooked by us on the hot stone and the frico was really good. There are many other interesting dishes on the menu worth trying. If you're in the Udine area, stop by.

The food was good, and cooking together on the stone was fun. The service was excellent. Even though the place was packed, the waiter was impeccable, precise, and attentive. Definitely a rare added value.

A rustic and welcoming atmosphere with a stunning view of Monte Stella and the other peaks of the Prealps. A very warm welcome from the staff, especially Valentino, who served us and advised us with professionalism, warmth, and kindness. The dishes we chose were all excellent; the smoked goose breast, the skewer, and the cheesecake with berries were superb. But even the stone with meats, vegetables, and cheeses to be cooked at the table is truly remarkable... bravo!
