A refined but not stuffy atmosphere. The dishes are well-presented and delicious.
The owner is extremely kind, smiling, and has an incredible story, assisted by a chef with an evidently strong personality.

We visited this restaurant for the first time for Valentine's Day dinner, recommended by a friend, and it was a truly wonderful experience!
The restaurant is historic and very distinctive, with a familiar and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The atmosphere was perfect for a special evening, elegant yet warm and relaxing.
The cuisine offers truly delicious local dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and impeccably presented. Each course was a pleasant surprise, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The wine was also excellent, perfectly paired with the dinner, and the desserts were delicious, making the evening a perfect end.
Special praise goes to the ladies working in the dining room: friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the evening, attentive to every detail without ever being intrusive. Professional yet genuine, they made a crucial contribution to making the dinner even more enjoyable and relaxing.
The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a true local cuisine experience in a genuine, refined setting with truly impeccable service.

As a Sicilian, I can say it's absolutely the
place where I ate best in Italy. Welcoming, well-kept place, very friendly staff, fast service. The red wine is top-notch. I'd go back any day to try other traditional Friulian dishes. I wasn't able to take photos of the dishes because the aroma was too much to waste.

Charming and welcoming place, not huge, so I think it's best to book.
Friendly staff. Bread was always available.
Appetizer, first or second course, Ribolla Gialla, water, and coffee were about $35 per person (but it depends on the dishes and drinks).
The portions were just right, not too much and not too little.
Quality: I have to say everything we ordered was excellent. Being a trattoria, there's not a huge selection, but from a look at the other tables, I'd say it was good! I didn't take many photos, and I'm a bit disappointed; my mouth watered this time!
If you're in Udine, stop here! ☺️

The staff is attentive, kind, and helpful. You can tell they care about the place, their work, and the customer's opinion, which they want to pamper. The food is excellent; as a Venetian, I had my first tiramisu in a restaurant worthy of the name, and a truly delicious traditional amaro. Well done!

A wonderful little trattoria where you can enjoy truly high-quality, simple, and delicious dishes.
I recommend the goose breast as an appetizer and the tartare as a main course.
We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

We've been there twice, and I'll describe them here:
Aperitivo:
A typical Friulian place; I'll leave the photos to describe it. We only had one aperitivo, two Aperol Spritzes, and two delicious canapés with cured meats (for €12). My grandparents used to go there many years ago, and it's always been a welcoming place. You can also eat; it's not just a bar.
Lunch:
After a while, the three of us returned for lunch. They seated us in the dining room, which is separated from the bar area. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere (I'll include a photo). The three of us had the famous Friulian toc' in braide, which was spectacular, followed by Angus steak, pappardelle with wild boar, and tagliolini alla San Daniele—all truly succulent and made with love. To accompany our drinks, we had two glasses of Cabernet and a sparkling water. We paid €100, but it's well worth it. Well done to the two brothers who run the business, continuing the family tradition. We will definitely be back and we obviously recommend this place!!!

On our way back from Tuscany, we were looking for a nice restaurant next to the highway.
At first glance, the place looks like a bar. The adjoining dining room is very nice and has a great atmosphere. The table was lovingly set, and the food was wonderful. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the price-performance ratio was excellent. I definitely recommend it.
