You land on your feet for lake fish. I haven't been here in years. What a waste of time!!!

A historic place to eat traditional local dishes, specializing in lake fish. If you want to experience true local specialties while avoiding touristy spots, Trattoria del Combattente is a must-try. We discovered it by chance and were extremely satisfied. Traditional humble dishes always win, and the lake fish eaten here is authentic, tasty, and cooked the traditional way. I highly recommend the Combattente appetizer, featuring four types of fish and their different cooking methods, paired with a truly exquisite trout carpaccio. The stewed tench with beans is also fantastic, a quintessential humble dish yet incredibly delicious. Nothing here is banal or predictable; even the staff is exceptional, kind, and welcoming. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and they also have an interesting wine list, including a very good cask wine; in our case, a slightly sparkling white wine made the difference. Overall, we were satisfied with our choice and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and like the good old days.

I went almost by chance, and I have to say I had a great time. The lake fish was delicious, tasty, and well-seasoned. The place isn't very large but it's welcoming. The service was a plus: the waiter was excellent, and he was able to advise us. He was attentive, kind, and always smiling. I recommend it, not the waiter, but the restaurant itself. It's a matter of taste!

The price/performance ratio is on the high side. The food was okay. The chairs are uncomfortable. We had fish, and the service was spartan.

Visited at lunchtime during the week. Well frequented by locals and tourists. Simple and very clean atmosphere. Professional and punctual service. I ate lake fish and a dessert, both of which were excellent. Reasonable bill.

We ate here two days ago because of the many good reviews and because we didn't want the usual tourist food. What can I say, we were rewarded. Fantastic food and a great server. Unfortunately, I didn't see him again when I was paying. I hope my separate tip reached him.
