Sorrivoli Castle is an important medieval fortification dating back to the year 1000, of considerable importance during the Malatesta rule. The castle, nestled in a pleasant natural setting, is imposing and well-preserved, and features all the typical features of feudal structures. The village, now transformed according to modern standards, stands on one side of the high walls. A ramp leads to the entrance, with its door featuring vertical slits, signs of a now-disused drawbridge. Inside, there is a large square, a well-preserved observation tower with some residential structures, and a church that would go unnoticed were it not for the cross on the roof. There is a trattoria here, offering evening dining in the square, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, perfect for sunset.
