Fantastic food and service! The pasta was fresh and full of flavor, and the pizza was just perfect — crispy base, rich sauce, and generous toppings. Everything tasted authentic and homemade. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely a place I’ll visit again!

I start from the assumption, if we had known we would not have stopped, indeed, booked. The place itself is nice, there is an air of tranquility and "slowness" already because the over 40 minute wait between one course and another is simply impossible to stomach. Expensive, for the food, absolutely expensive. Friendly staff, small parking, but it is also located along the road

Sono stato per la prima volta al Tramonto d'oro bel posto situato alla frazione San Pietro di Castellabate. Piatti abbondanti personale gentilissimo. Mi sono piaciuti moltissimo i ravioli ma anche le polpette e la mortadella grigliata. Ancora complimenti alla prossima.

30/05/2025: Excellent pizza cooked in a wood oven by Ettore, the owner, wide choice of flavours, good quality of products, small but welcoming environment. I recommend it
13/04/2025: The pizza is served on a metal disk with the card and is self-service. Obviously you don't pay for the service The pizza is good, not the usual """nobled""" pizza with a row of crusts, long leavening, ancient grains, and bla bla........ it's a simple and good pizza, I also ate a crocchè and it was good Pizza Margherita and Marinara cost €4.00 each.

Trattoria dei Cartari

15/05/2025: 3 of us dined here on our last night in Amalfi 13 May 25. The food was the best we had all week, we wished we would have gone here before as we would have returned. We had 1/2 lt white wine, 1/4 lt red wine, taglietteli bolognese, gnocchi and the third meal was a vegetable pasta dish. It was delicious. We also ordered a mixed salad and grilled vegetables. They provided bread which was so fresh and delicious. The meal was 84 euros which was the cheapest all week. It is at the top of the main street but well worth it. The service was brilliant and the staff were so pleasant.
14/05/2025: Ordered the red snapper fish and mixed salad. Everything was great and fresh. Definitely recommend this place
