Tramonto d'Oro In Castellabate

Sono stato per la prima volta al Tramonto d'oro bel posto situato alla frazione San Pietro di Castellabate. Piatti abbondanti personale gentilissimo. Mi sono piaciuti moltissimo i ravioli ma anche le polpette e la mortadella grigliata. Ancora complimenti alla prossima.

It has happened to pass by this restaurant several times, today we wanted to try to stop for lunch. Located on the national road between Agropoli and Santa Maria di Castellabate, despite the name, I don't actually think the location enjoys breathtaking views. The internal room, where we had lunch and is quite large, has nothing particular in its furnishings but is pleasant. The service was fast and kind. Some dishes are offered on the daily menu which change from time to time. From this menu we chose to take 2 pasta omelettes, not exactly cheap, but truly home made and of quality. We paired them with a portion of appetizer (tramonto d'oro), classic with excellent cured meats and some vegetables. Followed by two first courses, one really delicious, scilatielli with sausage, aubergine and cherry tomatoes, the other quite tasteless was scialatielli with sausage and white porcini mushrooms. All accompanied by water and a large coke. Final coffee. The whole thing cost €54. Let's say that I recommend it if you are passing through, maybe just for once to eat a hot dish. But with not very high expectations.

The food was excellent and a few waiters managed to serve around sixty holidaymakers with extreme kindness and efficiency in a very short time. The only flaw is the sun shining on some of the diners, but it is also true that we were at the limit of capacity and we were still very comfortable.

Non conoscevo il posto , ero di passaggio e viste le molte auto parcheggiate mi son fermato dato che erano quasi le 14. Ne Ho letto recensioni negative solo da chi sistematicamente fa questo di default con atteggiamento alla Bruno Barbieri dei poveri , e quindi per equità ho deciso di scrivere la mia . Si mangia bene , il pesce ( crudo , fritti e calamari ) fresco e i primi piatti ben fatti . Il conto è proporzionale alla qualità in coppia abbiamo pagato 85 euro per 1frittura mista grande , 1 calamarata da una porzione e mezza , 1 crudo marinato , 1 dolce tiramisù, 2 acqua , vino un calice . .. vivamente consigliato

We ate pizza and first course, really tasty. For 4 people the price was very fair and the service was fast and professional.

We were in this splendid restaurant a month ago, what can I say? Everything perfect, excellent food, the staff is the strong point. Bring plenty of it, really highly recommended. If you are in Castellabate you cannot miss out on a fabulous tasting in this restaurant. I'm giving a five star review because there isn't a sixth but believe me it deserves it.
