Dall’esterno la struttura e l’insegna ingannano perché di sostanza questo ne ha e anche tanta. Materia prima eccellente sapientemente trattata creando piatti semplici ma gustosissimi. ottima la carta dei vini. Personale accogliente, disponibile e gentile. Prezzi onestissimi in relazione alla qualità. Senza dubbio uno dei migliori ristorante a Salerno e detto da un salernitano …. è tanta roba. Complimenti!

Mi sono trovato a pranzare al Ristorante del Golfo con mia madre , abbiamo preso entrambi un primo ed un secondo , porzioni abbondanti ma soprattutto di ottimo gusto . Personale gentile e professionale . Avevo aspettative molto alte essendo che mia madre veniva in questo ristorante già da bambina e me ne aveva parlato molto bene , le portate hanno superato anche le mie aspettative per la qualità delle materie prime (soprattutto pesce freschissimo) e per l’eccellente esecuzione . Sala molto pulita e accogliente , personalmente gradirei una rinfrescata al design esterno . consiglio di provare le pappardelle con scampi zucchine e fiori di zucca (foto)

Senza alcun dubbio, sin da quando ero bambina, l'eccellenza. Se vuoi deliziarti mangiando pesce di giornata, cucinato "a mestiere", questo è il posto giusto.

Ristorante storico salernitano dove tradizionalmente si mangia il pesce. Nulla di male ma ha proposto le solite cose di sempre e la grigliata non era di fresco pescato. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Il locale pulito ma vecchio

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo, coperto per 2 persone 1 antipasto "trittico di pesce"molto misero e poco gustoso con rapporto qualità al prezzo scarso,2appardelle con crema di zucchina e scampi mediocre,1 calice vino bianco ,1 bottiglia d'acqua, 1 sorbetto di limone ...totale 71€Consiglio vivamente di non andarci questo è il mio parere

01/04/2024: Recommended by local friends. A very pleasant environment on various levels. The food wasn't bad, I got a well cooked Entrecote. The wine is also not bad (not the best), a Falanghina. But there is a nice choice. The waiters were confused and got the orders wrong several times.
23/03/2024: First time at this restaurant LOCATION It immediately presents itself as an elegant but not too elegant restaurant, ideal for business lunches/dinners or for various events as the rooms are very large and the place is structured on several floors, so there is no lack of space. They don't even disdain a nice romantic dinner, as we also find a pizza oven, pizza which we can pair with one of the many delicious wines they produce. SERVICE Regarding the service, there is nothing negative to report, the staff are always helpful and kind, I noticed a lot of desire to do things and attention to the customer. FOOD As for the food, the food was generally good. We started with an appetizer of DOP buffalo mozzarella and raw ham accompanied by bruschetta with parmesan cream and chopped walnuts and then finished with scapece courgettes, overall all very good. First course, trunk with Barolo stew, cherry tomatoes and burrata, then, this dish struck me a lot as the dimensions are not excessive, but I can assure you that it is filling, it may be the filling or the burrata but the dish satisfied me, as far as It's about the burrata but I have to say that it's good, yes, but it's not the best I've tasted. Second course, grilled sliced ​​meat with rocket and flakes of parmesan. Personally, however, this dish did not satisfy me too much both in terms of the cooking of the meat (be careful, I could easily have asked for it to be done more rare) and for the meat itself as it was a little too "fine/thin", would I order it again if I were to return? Probably not. (the meat was good, just personally I prefer other cuts). Everything was accompanied by baked potatoes with carrots and onions, unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the dish, but they were very good. I'm speaking out in favor of wines, there's really something to get lost in the amount of wines available, including house wines. In the end we finished with amaro and coffee. Would I eat at this restaurant again? Absolutely yes, but this time I would opt for a pizza, as the oven at the entrance intrigued me a lot.
