I went there for lunch after visiting Mount Etna. We chose the fixed meat menu. The menu is well-structured and allows you to sample various specialties, all prepared with quality ingredients. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with generous portions that were completely satisfying. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is attentive and friendly. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, making the experience even more enjoyable.

A truly beautiful and characteristic location on the slopes of Mount Etna. Friendly staff, and excellent food. A wonderful surprise outside with the opportunity to see various animals, including an alpaca, two skunks, prairie dogs, macaws, and much more. Highly recommended.

Bar Sgroi

05/01/2026: Bar Sgroi was very close to our apartment, so we went there for breakfast twice in a row. There was a vast selection of sweet pastries (and traditional savory delicacies like arancini), including cream-filled trecce, croissants, and Nutella-filled saccottini. We sat at the tables inside (there's also an outdoor seating area) and drank excellent coffees and cappuccinos, served by attentive and always very friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!!!!
