A very quaint location, beautiful both inside and out. We ordered the daily menu, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Even though the place was packed, the (very kind) staff immediately offered us an alternative, seating us outside in a sort of heated tent. Plus, since I'm vegetarian, they customized my menu with no problem. Highly recommended!

We spent a week traveling around the island and eating in different restaurants every day, and we can say that this restaurant was by far the best of them all. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was also great. We even came back the next day to try other meals from the menu.

An excellent choice for a traditional lunch on the slopes of Etna! The ingredients were delicious and fresh, the cooking was homemade, and the prices were very fair.

We were touring the Etna National Park and stopped for lunch. We were more than satisfied and gladly returned. Very charming, very friendly, and excellent traditional cuisine. If you're in the area, stop by; you won't regret it.

Excellent tagliatelle with sausage, porcine and brined tomato. Service was commendable. Went for late lunch. Didn't need dinner. The outside-ish atmosphere may not be everyone's style. The day I went in November, unusually warm, had more than its share of houseflies. Eh.

The food is great, but the atmosphere is a bit depressing out of season (we were there in the second half of November). It's probably more vibrant at better times.

We came here for dinner during our first day of Etna stay. It was early around 1800 and I was surprised it was open. We were welcomed in and were served delicious homemade food. We decided to eat here twice during our stay. Highly recommend the mixed grill, mushroom pasta, and homemade macaroni with Ragu.

A very friendly welcome and great service. Rustic atmosphere and open all day! Pizza is only available in the evening, but the menu is sufficient even during the day. The food and the house wine were excellent. Excellent value for money!

01/11/2025: In the heart of the central Corso Italia, I went today for the first time for lunch. In the heat, of course, I had a granita. Peach snuff with a touch of figs. Truly excellent. The two flavors blend perfectly. Served with croutons. I liked it. I'll be back. I'm adding a 50th star, which I hadn't previously considered because it was my first time there. Today, it's become my go-to place for mid-morning coffee, too. So, I'm absolutely thrilled with every possible star. Congratulations to all the staff: competent, kind, and friendly.
11/09/2025: A charming place located in one of the city's central areas. Not too big, they also offer outdoor seating in the summer. The ingredients are fresh, the salads are plentiful, and the sandwiches are satisfying. The prices are average, considering Catania isn't known for its low prices, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The place is well-kept and has a focus on charming details, including books and a small stand with used clothing. The menu is printed on paper and pasted inside an old novel. The waiter even notes your table on a piece of recycled paper. These are small details that are definitely worth noting. I recommend booking because the kitchen closes at 2:30 PM if there's no one waiting.

11/11/2025: Overall, it was decent.... unfortunately, they don't have a menu with prices... they advise you, and in the end, the bill is a surprise. I would recommend preparing a menu for the kitchen. You can find the pizza menu online, though. It would be nice to have both in paper form.
