The rooms were clean but there really isn’t much more to be said about the place. Fairly easy to get access with doors working with phone entry systems/codes. We were there in October and the town seemed dead - hard to tell why one would want to stay in Pontasieve - in our case it was simply because it marked the the first leg of the Camino San Francesco from Florence to Rome.

Excellent location near a free car park (in front of the post office) and very close to the station (and in 20 minutes you can be in Florence). The rooms are a bit basic and not soundproofed (you can even hear the neighbors' alarm clocks), lack of sockets next to the bedside tables. The self check-in service is excellent and works online via a specific site (you need to have a connection, but you are notified beforehand and the password for the WiFi is provided in advance, together with a video tutorial to understand how to log in. There is also a vending machine and a nice courtyard. The excellent pastry shop next to the station is very close.

The location is certainly strategic, given its proximity to the station. Let me start by saying that I don't like arriving at the facility and not finding anyone to interface with, management choices, I accept but I don't agree. Small clean room, which I think is important… But boy, it was freezing. If among the choices of not having staff there is the choice to stay in the cold, I don't agree with that. It was freezing in the bathroom and the same thing in the room, and no, I wasn't able to manage the climate despite having a video call with those in my family who do it for work. I would only look at this thing perhaps, because in mid-October not everyone is warm.

Staff really friendly and helpful even though, thanks to the online checkin, we didn't meet in person. Excellent double room, very quiet area and a few minutes drive from Florence city. All very well, thank you!!

Recently renovated structure, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent fact that you don't have to deal with the reception but all you need is a code to enter. Central location in the town of Pontassieve. Comfortable in everything.

Great place, close to the station and the center

The place is really nice, furnished with taste and attention to detail which makes the environment welcoming and comfortable. The cleanliness is impeccable, every corner of the accommodation was perfectly clean and well looked after. One of the strong points of this place is certainly its strategic position: it is a few steps from the station, which makes it extremely convenient for those traveling by train. Additionally, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, with several dining and shopping options nearby. Despite the proximity to the station, the accommodation is quiet and allows you to rest without any disturbance.

Excellent location (just 2 minutes walk from the train station)! Ideal for visiting Florence and its surroundings, avoiding the chaos of the city. Functional, spacious and welcoming rooms, with excellent standards also in terms of cleanliness. A special mention to the enchanting garden overlooking the back: a small green oasis in which to have a chat or relax at the end of the day.
