Tonazzo 1888 - Carneria Ristorante Veggeria In Vicenza

This restaurant rates WAY high on my list of favorites during my travels!!! Their concept is quality meats from around the world, and I chose an Italian filet mignon, and it was cooked absolutely perfect!! But, they also have salads and veggies, and I chose the roasted vegetable platter - unbelievably good! Not only was there a very cute bread basket, but also was presented with a toasted seasoned bread, which was my favorite. My server was very helpful and knowledgeable about helping me pick out a red wine, and everything was SO good, I splurged out on dessert too, having their millefoglie - puff pastry with custard, berries, and caramel - delicious! I added a dessert wine they recommended and it was perfect!! Their wait staff are excellent and just the right amount of attentive. The beauty of the surroundings added to the enjoyment, and I got to go inside to see their "grill" and their meat case! Highly enjoyable and I recommend this restaurant!

Very nice place, and the food is good, especially the meat. It's a shame the entrance is in the most ethnic area of ​​the city. Walking through there, you don't feel like you're in Italy. If it were in a different location, it would be 5 stars. Anyway, the interior is very cute, and I think it's ideal for couples.

A beautiful venue located in an old factory with well-defined and usable spaces. The cuisine caters to all needs, from vegetarians to carnivores. The selection of dishes is adequate but not overwhelming. The wine list is extensive and well-chosen, with prices appropriate for the quality. It's undoubtedly a landmark in Vicenza. The staff is attentive but not overbearing. The tables are spacious and comfortable with adequate seating. Outside seating is available.

Amazing find! Fantastic food. Our MR burgers were perfectly MR and the smallest size was more than one meal. The skin-on potato fries are tasty, thick slices of potato. Beautiful, classy interior, large dining room with big tables, big loft for large groups. Huge outdoor patio. Great location. Service and entire experience was first class all around. Will definitely be back! Guacamole sauce had some zing but easily mixed down with the heaping serving of Tzatziki. Plan your parking if not walking -- space is tight. Absolutely worth the trip.

All good and all beautiful, I went there for a dinner with friends, a quiet place with good dishes... the bill was steep, around €25 for an aperitif (medium beer and a dish) which in the end, considering the general inflation, could be acceptable, but it still remains an expensive place.

Beef cubes with caramelized onion, pine nut powder, basil pesto, and mayonnaise... Meat that melted in your mouth, perfect dish! Recommended!
