good toast and very generous portion!!!

I stopped by one day for lunch and liked the idea that they could roughly list the calories in a toasted sandwich. I had the simplest one, ham and cheese. The ingredients were good, and the service was quick. However, I found the bread to be too much for what it contained. I threw away a slice of bread, folded the rest in half, and it was the same as a sandwich at the bar, only I paid double. I'd say they could fill them up a bit more.

Nothing to complain about the quality of the food and service. The only negative... the stools! High, uncomfortable... with no place to rest your feet... a terrible choice!

For just a few euros more, you can upgrade your toastie to a set menu with fries and a drink, and the quality/price ratio is definitely good. The place is clean and the atmosphere is informal, perfect for a quick but tasty stop. Definitely worth considering when visiting Roma Est.
