Toast-it In Bari

Excellent shopping arcade. Children's activities are often hosted in the corridors and dedicated areas. Markets are also held in the corridors. There is a bookcrossing corner.

It's a place I've frequented frequently for many years, partly because it's closer to my other personal interests, located in a suburban residential area and adjacent to the local health authority and municipal police headquarters. It's certainly in need of regular maintenance, but not due to various structural issues, including rainwater infiltration in the basement parking lots. I frequent it regularly every week, especially for groceries at Ipercoop, insubordinately for purchases at Arcaplanet, and occasionally for the post office or other occasional businesses of interest. Unfortunately, especially in the available restrooms, there are sadly signs of incivility from some individuals, and unfortunately, security seems fairly ineffective or at least superficial. Overall, I'm fond of it and I like it very much.

After a long time, I feel it's right to update my review definitively. Over the years, several improvements have been made, aiming to offer essential services, filling several gaps in the urban context in which the center is located. But beyond the purely residential and social context, there are several drawbacks. In particular, the lack of large retailers like Action, Gamelife, laSnackeria, and the like, which could make the shopping mall more attractive to visitors, weighs heavily. Personally, I specifically went there to purchase some office supplies and electronics, but ended up leaving empty-handed. Furthermore, the street furniture, play areas, and the running track on the roof of the so-called Piazza della Pace require maintenance because they are worn out. Overall, it remains one of the best centers built in Bari and deserves a shout-out.
