Great experience! We found it by chance...but we were very, very happy and satisfied with the quality of the food! The owner was very kind, friendly, and helpful! Highly recommended!

Excellent trattoria for discovering Apulian specialties; don't hesitate to try the cheese/cured meat/gratin vegetable platter. Excellent service as well.

A warm welcome and a truly authentic atmosphere. This restaurant was recommended to me by my accommodation (Palazzo Manzoni), and I can only confirm: I absolutely did not regret it. The restaurant is quite small, but precisely for this reason, it is traditional and very welcoming, with a friendly and convivial atmosphere. The cuisine is wonderful, local and authentic, with true grandmother's specialties. It was my first evening in Monopoli, and the staff were very kind and helped me choose the best of Apulian cuisine. The service was efficient and the prices were more than fair. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return before the end of my stay.

A wonderful place, delicious food, and incredibly friendly service. The products and wine are of excellent quality. When in Monopoli, you can't miss this restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Antonio and his lovely wife, with all the company, does it. Italian, simple, with passion and open heart. You do not feel like you entered into restaurant, you feel like Antonio just welcomed you into his home. Go there, try some food, ask for a glass of wine and let the magic happen. Speak, ask, listen, enjoy.

15/02/2026: Excellent little place, welcoming, with exceptional service, and very tidy and clean. The staff, including Mr. Tommaso, are excellent. Compliments to all the staff.

Pizzeria Da Donato

13/01/2026: A lovely little restaurant in a nice neighbourhood. There is a very large choice of pizzas, so it became difficult to even make a decision about what to choose, but the pizza and desert was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is definitely worth a visit if in the area.
12/01/2026: A historic restaurant. The pizza is good, even if it doesn't have a more refined "gourmet" variety with top-quality ingredients. I think some of the pizzas could be a little different. I emphasize the good service because a waiter—I don't remember his name now, but I know he's been working there for about 2 years—realized that they'd assigned a table for 4 and there were 6 of us, so he moved us as soon as a larger table became available. I give the owner Donato a 0 because while we were drinking limoncello, he asked us to hurry up because he had to seat 14 people and therefore served our table!!!! I won't go into further detail because the wait for the appetizers, if you will, was really long, and then we were kicked out. But no, I'm not.
