Very good and refined food..very nice atmosphere..some small wait and inconvenience with the service, but probably just a bit of bad luck..to return to improve the rating!

This inn recalls a modern saying, which increasingly seems true: “communists with Rolexes.” It is frequented by alternative souls, busy appearing busy, who nonchalantly pour liquid gold into glasses of select wines and indulge in refined dishes. The innkeeper, bold in his proposals, offers singular, distinguished cuisine, but in slender portions, which escape the appetite and are not justified by the price. And while the presence of dogs among the tables is welcome, cared for and pampered like guests of honor, it is unfortunate that the flesh-and-blood customer receives less consideration. Go, if you are looking for the unedited and want to taste the extravagant. But leave armed with patience... and a good income.

The lunch offer included mainly vegetable-based small plates to share and no carbohydrates except for the accompanying bread We tried the fennel salad, the cannellini beans, the asparagus, the sheep pie, the courgettes with gorgonzola. The various preparations were apparently well executed but none particularly impressed me. The ingredients offered were mostly from "poor cuisine" - which is not a bad thing, on the contrary - but offered in a way that was too simple to make them truly delicious and unrepeatable. Excellent bread. The prices are in my opinion too high compared to what is offered. The proximity to the canal is pleasant for a digestive walk...

Sempre un posto piacevole e interessante ma sul menu direi che abbiamo fatto un passo indietro, proprio nulla degno di nota. E dire che è finito sulla guida Slow Food… magari sono stato sfortunato.

14/03/2025: Nineteenth-century villa ...promises well, it's a shame that you find yourself in a totally different environment from what you might expect: modern and shabby furnishings, vintage-style metal plaques (but what's wrong with those large rooms???) the coup de grace is when they take me to the table in a well-heated but very noisy and completely anonymous outdoor area, strongly in contrast with the nineteenth-century villa......well, we're here to eat. The impression of having entered a classic village pizza restaurant is also confirmed by the menu, there is no wine list but the classic 1/4, 1/2 or 1L (even if I like it more than the glass) the food, in fact, does not offer particularities but there is all kinds of meat and fish. Satisfied(unfortunately) with the food, I'm scared of the bill: 1/2 liter of wine €12!!!!!!!!! that I didn't drink it all because I already felt impaired (and I drink it every day) To conclude, the expense is excessive for a simple dinner in a banal environment

24/04/2025: J'ai convié 20 collaborateurs pour un diner conviviale et tout fut parfait !!! Ne parlant pas Italien, j'ai échangé par mails et messages avec Riccardo, le charmant patron de ce "Macelleria con Ristorante" pour la réservation et le menu. A notre arrivée, nous savions que quelque chose de magique allait se passer, des charuteries et fromages délicieux, des plats savoureux (avec une attention toute particulière pour un membre de l'équipe étant allergique au gluten). De bons vins que nous avons choisis dans la boutique, de bons desserts faits maison, wow la confiture 😊. Et que dire du service, savoir prendre le temps mais pas trop, le sourire, les petites attentions. tout ça avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. J'y retournerai et mes collègues locaux également. Encore Merci pour tout à Riccardo et sa charmante équipe 😍
29/03/2025: L’avevano visto qualche mese fa passeggiando per Trezzo. Finalmente provato. Subito dentro e dopo qualche minuto respiri una sensazione piacevole quasi di essere a casa tua con amici . Il locale è molto carino con una grande quantità di prodotti in vendita interessanti,vino,pasta ecc un bel bancone pieno di salumi formaggi e tanto altro. Noi abbiamo cenato ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Abbiamo assaggiato l’ antipasto di salumi e formaggi, che dire , che bontà!! Davvero buoni compreso lo gnocco fritto piccolo e non unto. Poi abbiamo preso una tagliata di entrecotte con crema delicata allo zola e pinoli di Sicilia , morbidissima e gustosa . Anche dopo quando chiacchierando e chiacchierando si era raffreddata un pelo l’ultimo pezzo è rimasto morbido e non asciutto o duro come capita spesso. In fine una torta di mele senza burro, vabbè anche il dolce era sublime. Che dire anche il conto TOP .. 1 antipasto 2 tagliate 1 contorno 1 dolce 1 bottiglia di vino buono 1 bottiglia d’acqua … ahhh il sorbetto x 2 offerto era una bontà !! solo 75 euro e le porzioni abbondanti. Io se fossi in voi lo proverei perché merita. Interessante anche i menu che propongono in vari giorni . Noi torneremo presto ..
