One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Definitely one of the best in all of Tuscany. Top-notch ingredients, sometimes even unusual ones. Excellent service.

A true delight ​I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. The food is truly excellent – ​​every menu item was a highlight. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive. ​A fantastic experience that I would gladly repeat!

I've been to this restaurant/pizzeria several times, and it's become one of my favorite places to have dinner and spend a pleasant evening. The pizza is the best I've ever had in the Poggibonsi area. Crispy, huge, light, and delicious! I could eat it every day. It's a shame I don't live in Poggibonsi, but I love coming here. I love it, and not just for special occasions, which is perfect. The refined and romantic atmosphere, every detail made with such care and love, are just perfect. The owners are very kind. They're pet-friendly, which is much appreciated. For me, it's the number one restaurant in Poggibonsi!

Nice place in beautiful Poggibonsi. We had pizza and pasta. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted good. However, the pasta was a bit too "al dente". They could have been cooked 1 minute longer. The atmosphere was good and we got a seat even though they were fully booked. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing by Poggibonsi. :)

Hotel Certosa di Maggiano

19/12/2025: An old monastery converted into a hotel located on the outskirts of Siena, highly recommended. The hotel has been nicely renovated, both the interior and exterior areas (although we stayed there in December, so we would love to return at another time to also enjoy the garden more fully). The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is buffet-style and very complete, with a very detailed decoration and layout (the only detail that I think could be avoided would be the issue of charging separately if you want an omelette or avocado, since I think the price of the room is higher in high season). One of the nights we stayed for dinner at the hotel, the food was traditional Tuscan with a modern touch, it was good even though the prices were high. One of the best things about the hotel has also been the staff, they have been very attentive and friendly, recommending routes, restaurants and experiences that we loved and have helped us with everything we needed. For us the location has been unbeatable, as it has been our accommodation to visit various towns and make excursions in Tuscany, as it is not in the center of Siena you have easy access and leave the car in its parking lot, but at the same time as you are in a secluded area and surrounded by nature you are 6 minutes by car from one of the parking lots in Siena to be able to explore the city or go for dinner. We are very happy and we cannot recommend it more if you can come!
15/12/2025: We had the great fortune to stay at Cerosa di Maggiano in late September 2025. The property was absolutely lovely and our room was very well appointed. There was a wonderful full restaurant overlooking an inside courtyard which was lovely and the food was excellent. From the moment we arrived to the time left we were blown away by the service. If we could have rated it 10 stars we would have. The best way I can describe it is we were treated like family in a very professional manner. Our every request was met graciously. Our favorite server from the bar, Ricardo, made sure we were well looked after and even shared his homemade limoncello with us. We would not hesitate to stay agin or recommend the hotel to anyone.

Restaurant Santorotto

13/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant on the way home from a trip. It's impossible not to appreciate the food: ingredients of undisputed quality, dishes cooked to perfection. The ambiance only adds to the pleasure of the food, and the prices are fair. The real asset of this restaurant, however, is Tiziano, the soul of the restaurant. It's hard to find someone so professional, fun, and friendly, the epitome of Tuscan style.
08/12/2025: Pici with Chianina ragù and peposo are two highly recommended dishes. The waiter, Tiziano, was very courteous and attentive, even to the needs of two celiacs.
