Tierra In Matera

A unique experience...very well-kept place and studied cuisine that enhances the raw materials with absolute refinement. The girls in the dining room are friendly and never too set despite the many questions at the tables. Very honest bill...there were 3 of us...43 each with various dishes and 2 gin and tonics. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the "homemade" scheme.

Delicate and original notes, each dish a unique experience, illustrated with great skill by the attentive and welcoming waiting staff. The view from the terrace was the backdrop to this interesting dinner among the sassi of Matera.

Excellent restaurant that's off the beaten track. Very good wines and excellent food. It's original in its combinations and flavors, it's very, very good. Osso-buco and lamb revisited, super tender meat. The strawberry soup dessert with basil sorbet was to die for. Apart from the tourist restaurants, we loved it. The welcome and kindness are there!!! Luxurious restaurant, with delightful staff, in a suggestive location. It offers revisited traditional dishes. We found everything very good, but high prices and modest quantities. Suitable for couples and special events.

Como destino final de nuestro viaje a Apulia teníamos esta espectacular localidad "Matera" aunque pertenece a Basilicata es frontera con Pulía y había sido históricamente Pulía. Habíamos investigado para nuestra primera noche y reservado en este buen restaurante del que ellos dicen en su pagina web: (Tierra es sinónimo de sostenibilidad, compromiso y perseverancia, palabras claves para describir el entorno y su entorno, respetando las materias primas y productos que la naturaleza nos ofrece estacionalmente) y realmente es asi, cuando accedáis al restaurante os daréis cuenta. Se trata de un pequeño local muy bien decorado y magnificamente dirigido por dos mujeres muy profesionales. Tomamos 2 Uovo 65º, pomodoro San Marzano, pane croccante all 'oglio e origano, 1 Rana pescatrice, castagne, tartufo nero della Basilicata e taccole, 1 Pancia di suino nero Lucano, funghi cardoncelli cipolle borretane al balsamico e salsa al vino, para beber 3 calice rosso de l´archetipo Aglianico de la Puglia (24.-Euros) y de postre 1 Pavlova. TOTAL: 108,50 Euros. Magnifica relacion calidad precio, muy muy recomendable.

Una piacevole scoperta nel cuore dei sassi. Dopo la scalinata di accesso si presenta un locale elegante, raffinato e ben arredato. Ottime le proposte culinarie con alternative anche vegan. Le proposte sono quasi tutte con prodotti locali di alta qualità, per una cucina forte dei sapori del sud. Ottima anche la cantina dei vini, anch’essa di qualità. Molto consigliato.
